False Flag: 'Hafiz Saeed's Life Is In Danger' says Punjab Govt

    Don't have a link but a ticker is running on channels here that "Hafiz Saeed's Life Is In Danger; Taliban Issuing Threats: Punjab Govt"

    Am I wrong to assume Hafiz Saeed's life IS in danger but NOT form Taliban but the agencies themselves? I mean what better to kill the "Mumbai Attacks" controversy and shut up India and US ("extradite Hafiz Saeed") and conveniently putting blame on Taliban (which will do wonders for propaganda against them too)...

    False Flag is written all over this!!!

    Hafiz Saeed is a pawn of ISI and nothing else. Real players when nabbed (from both sides) none of the sides will lay claim to any one of them being their man, not even asking the other side if they have him. This is normally done by ISI and RAW.
    But in Hafiz Saeed's case it is not that. Kashmir was meant to be a hot spot right since partition of the subcontinent into India and Pakistan. They were never seen to be friendly neighbors by limy colonials. Fires are kept stoked through people like Hafiz Saeed, not by eliminating them!

    Lashkar,Jaish,Harkat etc are the assurance for safe Pakistan and why we should get rid of them???
    They all are having the same Place in our deterence like Atomic programme,Army etc.
    Pakistan will never like get rid of such assets around...

    I may not agree fully with you SufiSoul. They are after all armed factions. More harm than good has been done to Pakistan through them on an international level and by not recognizing Kashmir as a problem between India and Pakistan.

    These Lashkars, Jaish and Harkat etc should join the regular army. This way it would have been much better. A ripe case is the Sikh separatists that should be worked on and not direct infiltration into Kashmir.

    India has armed factions also like Shiv Sena that when translated means God's Army. No body talks about them while all our Jaishs' (Army) are earning us a bad reputation.

    mirza sb this is an international phenomena NOW.
    Americans send their Black Water where their armed forces cannot be allowed.
    As you mentioned India also have same groups.
    So Pakistan is also operating such groups to gain some targets around.
    It's difficult to get rid of such groups.
    A problem arises when any of such groups get Independent.
    I dont think that any of such groups under ISI can act Internationally without ISI permission..

    It's hardly Jaish's fault. With "Ambassadors" like Haqqani and FM like Qureshi, you are stretching it by blaming that on Jaish, No?

    The question is of strong negative propaganda by India against our armed factions while what India is doing through its own armed factions are hushed up.

    Another question is how many hindutva activists, Jansangh, RSS, Shiv Saina, Bajrang Dal you have arrested in Pakistan as infiltrators? And if you have nabbed some than show them to the world. Expose their evil anti Pakistani designs.

    Anyone arrested in India fake or genuine is paraded as Jaish-e-Mohammed, Sipa or what ever aided with stupidity through claims by these factions that further aggravate a situation and international sentiments against us Pakistanis as infiltrators or terrorism exporters!

    Or why not claim on an international platform once and for all, that all such armed factions from Pakistan are created and maintained on par against all armed factions created and maintained by India.

    @semirza, good to see you understand some of the ISI games being played between factions while some others are either gullible or under the sway of agencies.

    The killing of Khalid Khwaja on orders of Hamid Mir is not a one off situation. In article by Syed Saleem Shahzad he had already mentioned how the "Asian Tigers" faction of taliban view Hafiz Saeed in contempt for not joining jihad against Pakistani army.

    Soon, you will see the paranoid armed gangs going after each other.

    But seriously, why not?

    When you Ambassador to US says in US that the purpose of Pakistan's very existence is to support terror/Jihai groups, then why ask this question? (BTW: The very next day of making this statement he got his contract extended for another year)

    When your Ambassador to US is the one who authors/recommends clauses to knock your army in the Kerry-Lugar bill, why ask this question?

    When as a result, your FM rushes home to make sure there is no debate on it in parliament, why ask this question?

    When your FM goes to India and says it is not India's "water terrorism" but our own mismanagement causing our water shortage, why ask this question?

    When your Interior Minister arrests locals in response to any terror act overseas, why ask this question?

    When your Interior Minister keeps claiming India did it and he will show evidence soon but never does it, then why ask this question?
