    Nothing of much value comes for free.
    Haqqani's book is available via amazon very reasonably.

    However, check out Carnegie Centre's site where Haqqani is visiting scholar;

    There is a plethora of related articles.

    HAVE FUN :-)

    check your local libraries through worldcat.org , then check scribd.com, if you dont fine em there go to usniff.com click on ebooks and search and still if you find nothing, google is your friend or pick up a used book from amazon.com. it is just plain stupid to pay the retail price for a book specially when it will be useless to you in a week. after you are done reading dont keep a book sitting in a corner of your room pass it on through amazon or give it away free on craiglist

    Though i enjoyed Hussein Haqqani and Ahmad Rashid books but take them with a pinch of salt, sublime they talk about there own agenda which may not be in better interest of common Pakistani.

    Recently I hear good reviews about Mohammed Hanif's 'A Case of Exploding Mangoes', did anyone get a chance to read? Any review?

    when I picked up that book the expectation were really high because of the good title and I was hoping for a non fiction account of what really happened but its a short piece of fiction which is entertaining but not what I expected so I was a little disappointed.

    and hanif abbasi does include some totally unnecessary(in my opinion) gay porn in the story which was kind of disturbing but yeah it was an ok book
