Showbaaz and long march against drone attacks?

Should we say it's the joke of the day :)

PML-N is trying to ape PTI stands on different issues, but off course only by talking.

you are diverting the attention from the "real" issue. We are so "worried" about Mian muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his deteriorating health. Dil ka opretion koi mazaq hai? Does anyone know whether he is able to travel back to Pakistan and lead the protests against drone attacks and the PML-N release of RD? At least PML-N collaborated to release RD.

They are STILL trying to sell that health BS. Don't even know if this news is real or they begged Erdogan to do it (If he was concerned, I am sure he would have picked up his phone...but he didn't). Interestingly, this little blurb too comes without any byline (they couldn't even buy a lifafa reporter to put his name to it):
    Turkish PM enquires after Nawaz

    LAHORE
TURKISH Prime Minister Tayyib Erdogan has written a letter to PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif to enquire after his health, appreciating his services for strengthening the ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

Nawaz Sharif s political secretary Dr Asif Karmani said on Monday that the Turkish PM in his letter had recognised Nawaz not only a leader of Pakistan but also the time-tested friend of Turkey. He has appreciated the effective role of the PML-N leader in further improving the historic ties between Pakistan and Turkey. The Turkish PM expressed his well-wishes and prayed for the early recovery of Nawaz Sharif, he said, adding that in response, Nawaz expressed gratitude to Erdogan, the deputy PM and foreign minister for sending him their wishes.

Again, this story only quotes "Nawaz Sharif s political secretary Dr Asif Karmani", and we already know the tales he's been spinning. If this thing was real, I thing the Turkish embassy would have made the statement, don't you think?????????
    :)

    P.S. Here's a curious story about real "heart-trouble"...
UAE resident's murder 'may be political', family says

AJMAN // Grieving members of the family of Iftikhar Ahmed Khan, a prominent Pakistani who was murdered in Ajman on Saturday, believe his killing may have been politically motivated and want answers about his death.

Khan, a former member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) party, was shot dead in front of the Rashidiya tower while waiting in his car for his brother.
    ...
"He was planning on standing as a PMLN candidate in the national assembly elections in Pakistan next year and we believe that he may have been killed by political opponents," said Irfan Akhtar, Khan's nephew, who works with a UAE telecommunications firm.
    ...
Khan, 45, had been living in the UAE since 2008.

He had gone to a labour camp with his brother Zulfikar to visit a sick worker. Khan was waiting in the car for his brother, who had gone inside, when someone fired five shots at him, Mr Akhtar said.

"As soon as Zulfikar heard the gunshots he came running out but there was nobody at the scene," he said.

(Fact: I hear those "labour camps" are owned by Mr. Nawaz himself.)

It seems that they are after another safe home i.e Turkey since saudis may be reluctant to offer saroor palace once again.
Leaving my political reservations aside I hope he is all well and nothing's wronge with his health. His wife is also very ill and being a human we should wish for their good health.

The reality is that no one knows for sure his where abouts and what exactly is his problem . Yes, it's not the hair any longer since the "sher" has got his mane back (hair transplant). ....eehhh apart from being an conspirator in the release of RD. Maybe he is (after all) is ashamed of what a coward he is and thus would like to hide for a few weeks.....What an American stooge!

Your wait is almost over --- well not quite.... :)

Bozos still trying hard to pass the lie...Say Oh our homecoming princess, don't come yet -- it's only been like three months -- We want more time to put on an even bigger third-rate drama and involve Data Sahib in the lie....
N asks Nawaz to delay homecoming

Sharif, who had undergone a heart surgery :-P in London a couple of weeks ago, was scheduled to land in the provincial metropolis on May 2, but his younger brother and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has urged him to delay the programme as party activists wished to give the former prime minister a warm welcome...
    ...
One of the participants told Dawn there was almost a consensus in the meeting to bring the party chief in a procession from airport up to Data Sahib`s shrine. He boasted that the party could manage at least 200,000 activists for the show.

(This is "collective" sum of PML-N brians at work....)

  35. UPDATE:
Here is an example of the great things they have been busy with:

Pakistan Muslim League-N chief Nawaz Sharif will share a four-point agenda with the masses when he returns from London most-probably by May 10.

The PML-N chief had announced a 10-point agenda in January for the PPP-led federal government to follow to 'improve governance and steer the country out of the crises' it was faced with.

Oh, write...that 10 point agenday worked out so well. The nation is saved, thanks to PML-N. And now the four-point one will turn it into a super-power!!! :-P

"The four-point agenda, said one of the 18 members of a PML-N committee formed recently to make arrangements for a 'befitting' reception for the party chief, would encompass price-hike, corruption of the federal government, energy crisis and terrorism."

So they are wasting planning a huge party "befitting a 'king'" and for show have come up eith a four-point agenda that is stolen from their own 10-pointer. Of course while they were planning this, electricity rates have seen another hike and petrol prices hiked last night to make diesel touch Rs 100/liter (imagine how much public petrol they are going to waste on this show).

(Zulfi Khoa) Asked if Mr Sharif, who had undergone a heart surgery recently in London, would be able to take on the stress of the proposed mass-contact campaign and that if the security aspect had been considered, he said in the meeting consensus was that the leadership would have to take such risks if the party had to survive.

Aaaa haa haa -- still playing that "heart surgery bit"...Oh poor fella...he is going to be putting his life on the like, taking "risks" even though his heart is all broken. Oh, what aleader!!!

    But here's the funniest bit:

Senator Pervaiz Rashid, who is Punjab government`s spokesperson as well as a member of the reception committee, insisted that it was not the party policy “to waste its energies in holding receptions for the leadership”.

Though he did not deny the proceedings of the meeting which discussed the Mr Sharif's return, he said the arrangements being made to welcome the party chief should be taken as plan of some individuals and not the party.

So Mr Rashid is planning the party, admits it is a energies" to do so, and yet justifies the same spinning it this way: "plan of some individuals and not the party"!

Reminds me of the golden oldies: 1) when another PML-N leader (on their delaying the by-polls in Rawalpindi and Lahore): "We are ready for the polls, it is the Punjab Government that is stopping them" 2) MQM's usual "Altaf bhai to aana chahtay haiN, hum qarkunooN naiN unhay manaH kiya hua hay"
    :)

That is why the most befitting name for PML-N is Pakistan Munafiq League. IMO they are far worse than PPP. Re. the latter one at least know what they stand for, but in the case of the munafiqeen it's all a show about how pious, religious and "sick" they are and inside they are rotten to the core - even more than the piplyas.

Btw: The right- and left wing is also a mere gimmick. Look at how another part of the PML is joining hands with PPP....so the only befitting name is indeed Pakistan Munafiq League both for Q and N.

So basically the "grand Istaqbal" FAILED MISERABLY!! Besides those two lines in Nawa-i-Waqt (an openly Nawaz leaning paper), I also found a blurb in Dawn:
Nawaz back home after heart surgery

Now the third rate items posted above claimed "huge rally" which turns out to have been a plain lie just like the heart surgery. Even Nawa-i-Waqt story tries to lie but fails miserably:
کارکنوں کی بڑی تعداد نے ائیرپورٹ پر انکا استقبال کیا مسلم لیگ نون کے قائد محمد نوازشریف لندن میں علاج کے لیے گئے تھے، لاہور ائیرپورٹ پر میڈیا سے بات کیے بغیرن لیگ کے قائد رائے ونڈ چلے گئے

If there was a "bari tadad" at the airport, they would certainly have posted a pic. There was none. Also, there was no rally from the airport to Data Darbar (what to talk of a huge one). The "crowd" must have been pathetic because Nawaz chose to ditch it and quickly scurry away to Raiwind without even talking to the reporters.

Now the Dawn story not only confirms what I am saying above (not only no crowds of workers showed up, no workers showed up at all) but tries to spin it this way:

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Zulfikar Khosa, Pervaiz Rashid, Hamza Shahbaz, party’s legislators and office-bearers received him at the Allama Iqbal airport.

The PML-N workers were not asked to reach the airport to greet their leader as the party had made it a ‘low-profile’ affair.

Nice spin, eh? The workers were not there "because Nawaz asked them not to be there as the party had made it a ‘low-profile’ affair". What a load of cr@p! Didn't the same people delay Nawaz's arrival for the very reason that they wanted to put on a big show with 200,000 people? Weren't these very people (Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Zulfikar Khosa, Pervaiz Rashid, Hamza Shahbaz) part of the "Istaqbalia committee" formed for arranging the "big show" fit for a king? Didn't Nawaz himself agree to delay his earlier return (May 2) so they had time to put together the "big show"?

    The emperor stands NAKED! :-P
