Future of Pakistan? :(

(15 posts)
  1. I thought this **** ANP would have changed, and would have ended their hatred for Pakistan, but "Buray ko maut kahan".

So I'm really worried about the future of Pakistan, ANP's hate for Pakistan is apparent and they're working for greater pashtunistan with the support of America, In Sindh, we've MQM that will do anything INDIA/AMERICA tells it to do, Baluchistan is already in chaos, and some people are already raising slogans of 'free' Baluchistan. And even the largest party of the country, PPP, doesn't seems to give a rats **** about the country. And even in Punjab some people barked that Punjab be split into smaller provinces, so that it is easier for our enemies to disintegrate Pakistan.

Moreover, India is already threatening a war against Pakistan, American presence in Afghanistan is going to Increase, and even Karzai is a well known Indian/American puppet, who will do his best to wrong Pakistan.

    So where are we heading?

  2. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

This is an old video. But, I agree with what Zaid Hamid says.

    In my view;

The first thing to do is to re-establish our connection with ALLAH ALMIGHTY. We can do that by adhering to Islam's principles, ways/laws/rules/etc etc, also by going for prayers.

Also the first thing to do is to pray to ALLAH ALMIGHTY to keep Pakistan united (forever) at least untill next general elections, to help us/Pakistan/Pakistanis' safely pass through this treacherous! rule of PPP/MQM/ANP.

Equally important (as the first thing) is to strengthen the call for impartial, across the board, FAST!, non-discriminatory justice that obeys Islam. That will ensure no province is treated badly, so they won't find 'incentives' for talking about separation from Pakistan.

If justice starts getting imparted, people will find more reasons to unite, rather than make trouble for Pakistan as a nation/collective.

Second thing to do is to keep alert, stay focused. Keep up-to-date with news. Spread the news about the slightest bit of wrong that happens for Pakistan, for us as a collective. Find some way that the information reaches responsible hands or trustworthy people so they can do something in opposition to that bad.

    Umer,

Pondering over all what you wrote in your post, sometimes I think "Ya Allah Pakistan ka koi wali waris hai ya naheen?"

Is there a person / group / agencey taking care of interests of Pakistan in every field?

    Or

Aaap aur main yahan har ma'amle main, jalte bhunte hi mar jayain gai?

Daily you would come across manythings where you would be forced to feel that no body is there to take care of this or that matter!

But All this is paving way for revolution, when people lose faith and nobody seems to be there to take care then people would take things in their own hands.

Laikin in ko phir bhagne ka moqa naheen milai ga!!!

My opinion only, you have all the rights in the world to differ with my point of view!

  5. Right, no body seems to be guarding the interests of Pakistan, and no doubt we're in deep trouble and that the things are going to get worse in the coming days.

Coming back to these ghaddar parties, although I really have some legitimate fears about the future of Pakistan, but what makes me satisfied now is the fact that these same ghaddar parties existed long before the creation of Pakistan, they opposed the creation of Pakistan, but Allah(swt) miraculously gave us a country, and if these same ghaddar parties are out to disintegrate Pakistan, InshAllah Allah(swt) will protect this country, and that obviously doesn't rid us of our responsibility.

And I'd agree with you, that at one point this nation is going to burst out in anger, and that the insecurity, hunger, injustice is setting up a stage for revolution.

Yes, it looks like there could be a revolution but not yet.

If our leaders are corrupt or foreign agent I still dont want Talibans and their sympathizers to destroy Pakistan and its future in the name of guarding it. They have said enough in defense of Taliban and we have also heard enough what they said its time to move forward with consensus and unity and both are effectively possible with a democratic system and I believe that every society goes to crisis when that crisis reach to the end level of society's resilience to face challenges in the situation of that crisis, then after that crisis just vanished by itself. take and example of Chinese after world war two they were collecting dead bodies of their people who died in WW2 British left them trapped on imperial regime of China(just like Pakistan) who massacred Chinese in the name of families, tribes, clans and other division and finally they got united under the banner of communism and in one long march imperials were defeated and till now communist are still ruling China and China is becoming stronger day by day.

As long as the central government treat the common man fairly , then the ANP can put a board up at every street corner it won't make any difference.

  10. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    I find the following problem with Pakistani Muslims/people;

First, I don't think the Taliban system will ever come here. Not because there's something wrong with it. It won't come here because people of Pakistan do not want to change for the better. They want to remain miserable, they want the current situation of lawlessness, injustice to continue indefinitely because they think remaining in this condition is 'profitable' for them 'personally', that it provides them infinite opportunities for exploitation which will only benefit them personally. People think, if Islamic way of life returned, their ability to 'exploit' for their own personal benefit alone will be gone forever. Of-course it is 'much' 'easy' to extort money from the unending circle of bribery and corruption rather than do hard work to earn for one's self or family. Why do hard work when an 'easier' path is readily available, right ?

Secondly, the problem is 'credibility' of people who could be leaders. People of Pakistan are not able to differentiate between 'good' people who they can trust and 'bad' people who they want to reject, because they are not interested in establishing rule of law within Pakistan. The people believe, the current atmosphere of lawlessness/injustice suits their personal interests because it provides them unparalleled proportions of opportunities, so it should remain this way. This is a mistake because this solution benefits a small number of people leaving the masses impoverished, without benefits, even unable to survive. Which means the result will always be a violent 'revolution'. Teh only question in this scenario remains 'when' will the people bring about this violent 'revolution'. The thing that has changed now is that Pakistan has already seen so many non-credible, not-deserving, wanna-be leaders, Pakistani people think if they continue with it, the free ride they'v had thus far will end because Pakistan will loose its existence. That is why people are giving the feeling that they are waking up.

Thirdly, no Pakistani is ready to allow the good people to rule, simply because they think if that happened their own personal interests would get hurt. In doing so, they forget that ALLAH ALMIGHTY has gifted some people with the ability to rule over Muslims. Every citizen wasn't made to perform this task, because most of us have personal interests that we'd like to pursue rather than 'waste time' in taking care of others. People who are most loyal to ALLAH ALMIGHTY are the first preference to be chosen as 'leaders' for Muslims, and the second preference is that they have the best of education. Third quality is that people or the masses should trust that person to safeguard their interests. Not everyone possesses these qualities, but they want 'power'.

Pakistanis' are not ready to acknowledge this fact, even today, because frankly the lust of power is 'intoxicating', so they will engage in mudslinging to destroy the other's 'credibility' even though they know the one they are throwing dirt hasn't done anything wrong. People won't stop untill they themselves have power. It is only after! getting power that they realize they'v made a terrible mistake, since they can't handle the task of governing over others.

Now, in such an environment where no one wants to abide by the law of the land, it is only natural that no one in the majority will ever be able to gain power. Most of the people will remain miserable in this case, because the one who will get power won't care for anyone other than his own personal self.

In such a situation, it is only natural that criminals! of the society will gain power. Not because they deserve it, but because they think they can outsmart everyone. Because in such an environment criminals feel that the best way they can survive is to always! be in power. Once these criminals have acquired enough resources to throw away, they make people dependent on them, and turn people into opportunists through implementing their own hegemony.

  12. I don't know how some people always manage to bring taliban into every discussion...

    Posted 2 years ago on 17 Jan 2010 14:12 #
  13. Haris,

    @ First,

I agree people of Pakistan do not want taliban system here, and we should be thankful to them for this.

    @ Second,

I'd disagree, people of Pakistan can very well differentiate between good and bad, but it's just that they're always late in realizing who's good and who's bad. Like in 2002 MMA won elections in NWFP, people voted for them, but then they later realized that they're even worse than others.

    @ Third,

The results of last elections would have been really different, had the people not been swept by the sympathy wave, so we should maybe just wait for next elections, or pressurize this government into midterm elections, then the things will surely get better.
