    So doesn't the Metal Storm ADWS cancel out/make obsolete the Gatling Gun M134? In other words Gatling has already been defeated and all money spent on it, wasted. :-P

    And talking about wasting money, shooting one million rounds per minute is a waste. If you don't hit the target, you've wasted a shipload of bullets. Even if you get the target, MOST of the firepower you used would have been redundant. And any idea how much space 1000000 rounds take or how much they weigh? A logistical nighmare. Completely impractical I'd say.

    Even with the current comparatively slow firing rates, they are getting:
    US forced to import bullets from Israel as troops use 250,000 for every rebel killed

    Just imagine what a waste the new guns will be (a billion bullets per kill?).

    I already smell victory ;-)

    P.S. Re: Metal Storm ADWS -- Nothing to break down? What if it runs out of battery :-P
