Surprisingly, many anchors at Geo TV are happy over closure of their sister tv channel, Geo Super.
Almost all of them have confided secretly to the News Excuse, that because of Cricket World Cup on Geo Super, ratings of their programmes had gone considerably low. And they had started hating Super because of that.
Sahir Lodhi was talking exclusively to News Excuse through skype directly from his studio. His voice almost choked with grief, and he blew his nose so hard that it scared all the crew on the studio. He was referring to ratings of his programmes during WC. "And now they have started IPL," said Lodhi, "I am so relieved that the Super and Aag are closed, now people would have to turn to my programme."
Similarly Sana Bucha gave a wink while giggling over the channel's closure.
Anchors are also happy because they were running short of topics for their programmes, and now they can do several programmes on this topic.
