    It's an irony that we don't have even ONE muslim leader like this guy.

    Minister Louis Farrakhan Muhammad, Sr. (born Louis Eugene Walcott; May 11, 1933) is the leader of the Chicago-based Nation of Islam (NOI). He served as the minister of major mosques in Boston and Harlem, and was appointed by the longtime NOI leader, Elijah Muhammad, before his death in 1975, as the National Representative of the Nation of Islam. After Warith Deen Muhammad disbanded the NOI and started the orthodox Islamic group American Society of Muslims, Farrakhan started rebuilding the NOI. In 1981 he revived the name Nation of Islam for his organization, previously known as Final Call, regaining many of the Nation of Islam's National properties including the NOI National Headquarters Mosque Maryam, reopening over 130 NOI mosques in America and the world.[citation needed]
    Farrakhan is a black religious and social leader and a critic of the United States government on many issues. Farrakhan has been both praised and widely criticized for his often controversial political views and outspoken rhetorical style. In October 1995, he organized and led the Million Man March in Washington, D.C., calling on black men to renew their commitments to their families and communities. Due to health issues, in 2007, Farrakhan reduced his responsibilities with the NOI.

    Khan Sahib really the man who is attributed to have messed up the entire African American race of Muslims into a weird concocted version of a white man's Islam is a very influential person for you ?

    Cmon Khan Sahib i thought u were more sensible than that.

    One man who single handedly ruined Islam for many Black Americans and believed that he was taken up to space ship u call him a person to look up to

    This joker named Farakhan has led some perverted religion under the guise of 'Nation of Islam' and has some weird belief system such as Prophet (PBUH) as a négro. They always quite opportunistic and try to gain popularity by converting some well-to-do or well-known African or Guyanese individuals such as they have tried to convert Muhammad Ali the boxer. Fortunately, Muhammad Ali realized in time what kind of scam he got into and left the club to accept the real Islam.

    The little i have read about NOI is that they have some significant differences with traditional Islam, NOI for example believe in Elijah as being a Prophet(Nausbillah).

    Yes, but there were problems within this organisation on this issue. I think Malcolm X parted ways with this group. Muhammad Ali also realized the wrong path of NOI and Eljiah Mohammad an parted ways.

    Btw: I see a great Muslim leader in Prime Minister Mr. Tayib Erdogan of Turkey!

    No doubt that Recep Tayyib Erdogan of Turkey is a great leader and a man of principles.

    I am sure we will have our own "Recep Tayyib Erdogan" in near future in Pakistan, Inshallah.

    I think you have erred here. But as it is said to err is humane and to forgive is divine. So beg forgiveness from Allah for projecting a wrong person.

    Farrakhan is a very good singer too. His music records were often released. I personally had the pleasure of meeting him at Karachi in 1986. The name of his organization is "Nation of Islam".
