    How can one "negotiate" with terrorists? They will always find a reason to spread harm, terror and evil regardless of if Pakistan fights US's war or it doesnt!
    Most importantly, why doesn't Baitullah go and terrorize the US as its the "US" war they are trying to retaliate against?

    I say nuke the MOFOS!

    What's the point of displacing thousands and killing 2nd tier leadership while leaving the heads intact? If they have him cornered, they must eliminate him.

    No Beenai, it was not a drama it was the real thing.

    Baitullah should be tried in a court of law.

    I dont know about the credibility of this news item but if it is true then army is trying to use Baitullah just like it used Sufi Swati.

    Yara you are not going to offer a post by ISPR.All know about this Army and their Kartooth pls....They made number of agreements with Taliban through Maulana Fazlur Rehman.....and now they are doing the same...They are not having fighting power and enough Army to fight Taliban......Jago yar Jago...

    skyfacts, there is news coming out in past 3-4 days about same Taliban-style beheadings of government employees which shows they are there but in hiding. According to you, Pak Army cant fight anymore because it is exhausted and thats why it is negotiating with Baitullah.

    I think that army is only buying time so Swat and Malakand division can be settled down and IDPs are returned back to their homes. Once all IDPs are back, army will throw away the peace accord or whatever with Baitullah and go after Taliban in Waziristan.

    According to Hamid MEer, Ansar Abbasi and Irfan Siddiqui, "government" is a coward and does not take up the issue of Amreekan, Israeli and Indian intervention in FATA. However, when Pak Army goes against them they start accusing government of killing its own citizens and when givernment starts negotiating with these terrorists, the same journalists start parising army for doing that and unfortunately general public buys into this crap.

    In both cases however, these journalists only accuse government when we all know government has no say whatsoever in such operations. It is Pak Army who decides and handles such issues.
