THE great grandson of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani, Abdur Rahman, who has embraced Islam, called on Jamaat-e-Islami former Ameer Qazi Husain Ahmed at Mansoora on Wednesday.

He was accompanied by Allama Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer, the son of Allama Ehsan Elahi Zaheer.

Abdur Rahman, elder son of Mirza Nasir Ahmed, embraced Islam in the year 1999 after going through Allama Ihsan Elahi’s book “Qadiniat, Mirzayat and Islam.” He has command of seven languages and is working as a translator at Bhasha Dam. His Qadiani name was Mirza Ahmed Bilal.

Abdur Rahman told Qazi that after embracing Islam, he had given up his inherited property. Last year, he applied for Hajj and the Saudi authorities had asked him for documentary evidence of his embracing Islam which was produced to them.

He said that a fortnight back, a group of Qadianis abducted him and subjected him to severe torture at Aiwan e Mahmud near Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and his nose was fractured. He fell unconscious after which they abandoned him near Anarkali Bazaar. Allama Ibtisam Elahi provided him with protection and arranged his medical treatment.

Lol Is it true that the Great Grandson of the False Prophet actually became a Muslim. If so THen Alhamduillah.

Otherwise if its false then the Qadyanis should register an FIR.

I have already said, there was no son of Hazrat Mirza Nasir Ahmad (ra) named Abdur Rehman or Mirza Ahmad Bilal. There were Mirza Luqman Ahmad, Mirza Fareed Ahmad and Mirza Ahsan Ahmad.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed was the only person in the history who claimed the 'Imam Mahdi' and the 'Return of Christ' and then 'the messenger of Allah'. Initially he claimed of 'Imam Mahdi' then he realized that he is not much of attention as neither his name is Muhammad nor his father's name Abdullah and mother's name Amna so none would believe him so he changed the stance and started to claim the 'return of Jesus'. This eventually failed as he did not have any of the traits of Jesus (giving life to a dead person). So, he eventually took another jump and started to claim prophet hood in his own.

Quite amazing to know and quite confusing to believe. How a person could be prophet who was himself so confuse about what he is.

Such news for a small group in minority is always difficult to accept...
Cuz among the top rank people if someone shows a stance against the others specially in matter of religion than this is always a shoking news for all the top leaders of that religious group...
Once i was talking to a shia and he is undisclosed sunni now,he told me that when you have all ur family shia than its nearly impossible to be shia socially it has BHAYANAK results for the converter. You face hate from all ur relatives at peak which makes u remain undisclosed muslim....
The same is the case with Qadiyanis they cannot disclose themselves as converted to ISLAM otherwise torture hate and even killing threats and acts are expected to face....
So due to this geo-political-religous seen one is good to convert but for many it is usefull to remain undisclose......GOD HELP YOU ALL...

Well leaving all else aside, the allegation of violence and aggression is not only unsubstantiated, it is also patently false.

If there is one thing the ahmadi community is particularly gung ho about , it is the complete abolition of violence as a means of resolution. The ahmadi community has no procedure for excommunication, no religiously prescribed punitive action for belief and no history of violence what so ever.

In fact the ahmadi community even has procedures whereby a common man may challenge the instructions of the Khalifa without facing prejudice or repercussions.

I have no objection to everybody holding their anti-ahmadi opinions. Those are your right. However it is not proper to credit a patently non-violent community with allegations of torture and violence.

There are many examples of ahmadis choosing to not remain ahmadis and none have ever come to harm yet. Violence has been completely banned and is not justifiable in any way.

    @ Salam

Of course the news will be refuted since it actually isn't true. Don't forget that the Jang group is essentially pakistan's FOX network and has been found to report unsubstantiated fact before.

does anybody remember when they found Ajmal Kasab's ( mumbai attacker) "village" in punjab? That entire report was proven to be complete fabrication.

the fact that this very report has not be carried by other news groups is also a cause for some scepticism.

There is a complete and utter ban on violence and intimidation in the ahmadi community. Any minority living in an environment of persecution cannot thrive as has the ahmadi community if they resorted to such tactics.

Also, having been in rabwah only recently i can certainly assure you that the pressure felt in Rabwah is by the ahmadis. There are regular demonstrations and protests by various religious leaders (primarily from neighboring chiniot) against ahmadis. From friday sermons condemning them to distribution of hate literature, the pressure that ahmadis in rabwah feel, is not fromt he ahmadi community, but from those who hate the ahmadi community.

The ahmadi community is in no position to exert any pressure.

If they do so, it will always result in a massive and violent backlash from the majority population that is very anti ahmadi.

You may say what you will about this community, but violent they are not. There is no record or history of violence among them.

I consider this to be no more than a drama staged to whip up hatred and violence against ahmadis.

I actually find this report to be a pack of terrible lies.

leaving aside the issue with Abdur Rahman (who somehow could tell that the group was "qadiani".. how he reached that conclusion is not reported)

Qazi speaks of human rights for the people of Rabwah.

Rabwah has a 100% literacy rate. All children go to school (not madrassas) and the number of women with higher degrees is higher than most places int he world. The basic human right of education is provided there more than anywhere else in pakistan.

In rabwah free food is provided to any and all people who need it. The provision of food is not dependent on religious affiliation as the ahmadi community provides the food without inquiring about religion. The basic human right of food and shelter is provided for ALL citizens and not just ahmadis.

In Rabwah healthcare of the highest standard is provided to all citizens according to their need and they pay only what is possible for them (the way Shaukat Khanum works). The basic human right of access to healthcare is provided and that too at the highest standard. The Cardiac centre in Rabwah is one of the most advanced in the country.

In Rabwah there is only a ban on ahmadis expressing their opinion. No such ban exists or is enforced on any others. The basic human right of freedom of speech exists for everybody there but the ahmadis.

I agree with Qazi that human rights should be implemented in rabwah. the only thing is that the only human rights that are being denied are those that the government has robbed the ahmadi community of. This vague accusation which he fails to actually explain is completely meaningless because there is no exploitation of human rights by the ahmadi community.
