One small but positive step from Federal Government towards Provincial autonomy.

Combined Pakistan with limited powers with Federation is in the best intrests of all Pakistanis IMO. But the things that are happening in Pakistan today, I won't mind if some provinces decide to quit Pakistan.

Unfortunately you are not alone with this thinking. And I understand the reasons.

You dont understand because you are not under attack. God forbids if you are under attack you will come to know how your countrymen owns you. Punjab is saying that pukhtoons even in such condition should not come to punjab, and sindh is even 2 steps further. They were on strike until all the tents were not removed. i spit on such countrymen and dont need any fake symphathies

As far as Military operation is concerned, NWFP is not the only province that has suffered. Except Punjab every province has experienced Military operation. Durting 80's and first term of NS, there was military operation in interior Sindh and in Karachi. Balochistan has experienced about 14 military operations.

you on this forum can easily say that you don't need fake sympathies but the people who are migrating and suffering NEED assistance!

But as I said your feelings are shared by many in our country. So they are not surprising.

  9. agree but u can't compare sindh operation with Baluchistan and Pukhtoonkhwa (How many IDP's were from Sindh and how many missiles were fired or town and vllages destroyed?

I am not trying to measure the pain. For me it is enough to know that people are suffering. I think Pashtuns are in War since 1979. I can't even count how many of you have lost their lifes and loved ones. So I completely agree with you that Pashtuns and Baloch's have suffered most than Sindhis and Punjabis.

ok i m going to take the risk and ask the following question. It may sound dumb or unreasonable to you all, but i honestly would like to know as i m not so updated in this issue.

Why the IDPs arent shifted to Peshawar ? or other parts of the province where there is calm? wouldnt htat be easier ? instead of shifting them miles away from home.

Look i dont the exact situation in rest of the NWFP province so pardon my question if you find it offensive.
