"They are living united in the UK, USA, Canada and several other parts of the globe".
They are a vibrant community in Gulf countries and living, partying happily together. They are either immigrants or expatriates in these countries and they got to behave properly.
"One must admit that the TWO Nation Theory was an emotional.."
It is a very simplistic view based upon history presented in school books. Since 1920's, India was getting polarised as Hindus,Muslims and Dalits under the leadership of Gandhi, Jinnah and B.R.Ambedkar.
The Dalit leader B.R.Ambedkar called for rununciation of Hinduism by Dalits and convert to Budhism or Islam or Christianity. He declared that he was born as a Hindu but will NEVER die as a Hindu. After partition, he went to Sri Lanka and embraced Budhism. Millions of Dalits also converted to Budhism.
The Muslim league avoided any deals or discussions with Mr.B.R.Ambedkar.

More than 60% of Muslims in the subcontinent are Dalit converts. Had partition NOT happened, Muslim+Dalit political nexus would have become inevitable and that is more than 75% of the population of undivided India any time. Let us NOT even talk about Dalit's threat to renounce Hinduism.
Partition saved Hinduism. Let us try to live as good neighbours. Any attempt to upset this fragile balance will again polarise the subcontinent as Muslims, Hindus and Dalits and the percentage of Hindus, Muslims and Dalits remains the same as it was before 60 years.
