We're talking of the lahore bar elections dell. Hamid Khan's professional group backed candidate beat Asma Jahangir & co backed candidate with a big margin.

In spite of Aitezaz supporting the proff. gr. I would be very wary of him. He has a history of building up credit and then go for the kill in a very cunning way. Never trust this Trojan Horse.

1- She joined Babar Awan group who is part of establishment that is facing dozens of hard corruption allegations, why she joined Babar group? Doesn't she know Babar corruption in Harris steel case and his role in dodging corruption cases against govt? Obviously she chose to come from PPP platform which in my opinion tells her FRAUD persona, there are many more examples which establish that she only raised voices where there was only American concern.
2- Of course it is a well known fact that she DOES NOT PRACTICE law so this makes her a POOR lawyer-

@salam thanks for explaining.... she takes high profile cases(like that infamous saima ropri one) and cashes in on their publicity. thats how she got her 'humanitarian' and 'leading lawyer' tags... she's nalaiq. her sister is a better lawyer than her. though both are corrupt hina jillani nay bhi barri raqam khai hai.

Oh, man...don't these people ever learn! Here is what I had said about the same during SCBA elections...see the story was the same then too:
“Former president SCBA Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has kept himself at distance from the bar politics. He had gone abroad and would not return till the polling day. However, Hamid Khan’s group is claiming his support. Lahore has gained significant importance in the polls, as almost half of the eligible voters are registered here.”Ah, so this is how Aitzaz was had played it — the usual double-crossing way. That Hamid Khan was so naive is something I had not expected. To think that Aitzaz was “keeping himself at a distance from bar politics” and supporting Hamid Khan’s group was foolish to the extreme. Aitzaz (behind the scenes) and his cronies (openly) were certainly working for Asma Jehangir...
