Haroon Rasheed Vs PkPolitics

    I have a great respect for haroon rasheed but even he is not able to understand that there are 1000s of other low profile journalists which are getting kickbacks and personal profits only because they know that when something will come against them there are 10 to 15 journalists who have integrity will face all the opposition and they will stay clean. These 10-15 journalists dont know that how many people are using them to get their personal benefits.

    At the same time i also dont know about the owner of PkPolitics, it is also likely that the owner wants to serve his own agenda using this website. I agree that this discussion forum is a wonderful place and mostly it is unbiased but this could also be to attract the educated and thinking Pakistanis to this website and buy their loyalties.

    I'm not sure why HR is dragging himself into this matter unneccesarily.

    We all know how difficult it is to access the kind of information Admin got to expose these Journalists. It requires some really good connections in bureaucracy or some influential politician to access it for you.

    Having said that, Admin himself may not have any agenda, but what about the ppl getting him all the information??? Can he gurantee they don't have any political agenda?

    I'm all for exposing these black sheeps, but the questions raised by HR are pretty valid too. He's mentioned how Shahid Masood was blackmailed to praise pkpolitics in his column published by Jang. If that's true, it'll be the most digusting thing ever!

    HR hasn't got his credibility and reputation overnight. He's gained it through his professional work and is respected by even his opponents. It'll take a lot to change ppl's opinions about him. That is for sure!

    I do like the work both HR and pkp are doing and wish that they both back off and move on.

    HR had been told to write about it he didnt write it just on his own.Its like "paiti-bhai" kinda thing.Its like when a bad name comes to one community the other members try to defend to some level.But there is no defense against plunder,theft or a crime if its proved.

    HR has to realize that not every stone coming to his family is wrong, there are black sheep in journalists. Have you ever thought why Govt. of Pakistan dont allot plots to teachers, clerks, employees of other departments? why only to journalists who are not even Govt. employees?

    Actually this is to buy their loyalties and get some favors, now true journalists should stand up against this and should demand that either the plots should be given to all other employees or should not be even given to journalists.
