I have advised him not to contest the by-election. He must not expose himself to the media and public unnecessarily, when his closest rival Asif Ali Zardari is safely away from them,’ observe a senior PML-N leader.

Mr Sharif cannot and must not join a National Assembly that behaves like a ‘debating club’.

no2..he should nominate some one else to contest in the by election in Lahore ....rather avoiding and making it postponed again and again.

Oh really this is all drama, why Shebaz Sahrif is in assembly, his life is not in danger? If Nawaz Sharif is so scared then he should give PLMN leadership to someone else and migrate to Saudi Arabia or UK. When you bring Saudi King to make a deal then you also have to accept his demands?

Musharaf used to say the same thing that he will not address to this un civilised national assembly. If Nawaz Sharif doesn't want to topple PPP government then why SS met COAS like a thief.

    Beenai,

"NS should pay attention to the advice ...its a good one."

It may or may not be a good suggestion because its no more 90s when general public was used to DISINFORM thru ptv & print media.

100+ pvt channels have played an important role in changing the political life a bit different from 90s.

Its not far away when these channels will force these celebraties to face public live on tv. And the moderator will ask a basic question about leadership "judgement". That have you made any clear judgement on major crisis that the nation faced & what will be your judgement if XYZ thing happens?

Its just begining, leaders can't run away from making judgements on major crisis & media will held them accountable for those judgements.

Its not far away when public will demand from media to arrange town hall type meeting among the chiefs of parties & they will be face to face where no ishaq dar can wisper.

I simple love these 100+ channels, they will do such kinna stuff to make money & people will get the benefit to see their leaders that how capable they are in decision-making & in presenting & defending their argument logicaly.

By the way, Beenai, I won't have anything to disagree with you if I would be living in 90s Pakistan.

This is a rediculous and shameful advice.
So NS is more respectable than assembly? The same person who goes around signing maafi namas??
If assembly is not up to the standard of NS, the greatest statesman of all times, then he should join it and fix it!!!
