UmeR, are you going to be the only voice of hope on this blog? Go and see what everyone else is discussing? It is as if the floods didn't exist at all. And if they did, only in the technical sense of this immense catastrophe. The 20 million victims on the road seem to have dropped out of our memory. Thank you, UmeR, thank you Sami Yusuf.

MG, even this thread would have died down, had you not been kind enough to shake our conscious regarding our criminal silence on this subject. And even the mainstream media seems to be slowly but surely hovering away from this issue.
May Allah (swt) help the flood victims in Pakistan & the families who have lost their loved ones and may those have passed, rest in peace and may he (swt) give us the 'taufeeq' (ability) to help these people.

Look, let all the others hover away, one persistent voice is all that is needed to make a difference. And we are already two here. Three in fact, if we count the unforgettable Sami Yusuf. Four in all, then, because Allah's voice will come thundering into the ears of our countrymen before any too long. Mark my words. For this there will be no forgiveness for anyone.
