A corrupt person can never take on the establishment. The establishment will open up his corruption cases and will send him packing. The establishment knows all about the illegal accounts of the corrupt politicans outside the country and so on.
And more so, how do you rebel effectively against the hands that have fed you? Nawas Sharif was fed, pampered and propped up by the establishment to become a "leader." How can he possibly look into the eyes of the establishment and rebel against them?
Secondly, what about the inherent question mark regarding the character of a leader who worked as an ISI and establishment's agent against other political parties at some stage of his political life? This is what Nawas Sharif has done during the start of his political career, and continued doing so until he was himself bitten by the army.
You assume that army is the only corrupt institution of the country (whether it is corrupt like politicians is actually debatable) that needs cure, and that NS' self-serving vindictive remarks against the army mean anything. NOT SO.
We believe that among the major culprits who have brought Pakistan to this stage, the corrupt and incompetent politicians of Pakistan, which include Zardari and Nawas Sharif, are easily among the toppers.
Voting for Imran Khan not only solves the above problem, but knowing the man, we can safely assume that he will be the last person to bow down to establishment's illegal demands.
Thus he is the only viable option left for any patriotic Pakistani to vote for, regardless of petty political games of thugs like Zardari and personal issues of NS.
