    (1) Why do we need to learn how Pakistan works from a foreigner i.e., Professor Anatol Lieven ?

    I did not put it here because we need to learn from him. I think we also need to read to know if he has given a right or wrong assessment.

    Then clearly mention it as such. He's a foreigner. We! are locals. We know how 'Pakistan works' much! much! better than him.

    Dears,

    Well I would repeat the purpose of posting this article is not because he is suggesting something which would help in running Pakistan.

    For me the interesting part is the one in which he relates the Pakistani society to the English one in the past centuries.

    The second most important point is to know how deep they are researching about our society. I personally, am not sure if there are that many Pakistani professors who have such in-depth knowledge of the English society/politics.

    I think you just read the title and started commenting. I know it is lengthy and many might not be interested in reading it ....
