Dear KS
On internet search I have come across the following two links
http://www.themodernreligion.com/misc/hh/organ-transplant.html
http://www.khilafat.org/newPages/Books/Resources/IslamicVerdictOnCloning.pdf
Both are against organ transplantation

I see the arguments on human hair but I think there should be an Ijtehad to sort out this issue.
I can't understand the logic against Human Transplantation. We are not trying to be GOD but just helping the human kind and Islam being the religion of nature, can't be against this. Perhaps our reading and explanation of the Ayats of Quran or Hadees is Bia. If I don't want to donate my organ then I will find one way or the other to call it prohibited.Posted 2 years ago on 21 Mar 2010 13:34 # -

Why would anybody object to a posthumous organ donation?

I am not surprised to see the summary of Fatwa in the first post. But I still cannot comprehend why there is no detail or reasoning of such fatwa. I mean from what divine text this fatwa has been derived.
Does anyone know if that's the way scholars have been doing jurisprudence for the last 1400 years?

The very birth of life is through a process where a male donates his sperm to the female to make her pregnant.
The start of life and saving a life should not be limited through illogical philosophy.
I know a person who survived lung cancer where his younger brother, who is also alive, donated one of his healthy lungs for transplantation.
Earth is not going to fall through organ donations. The Fatwas of Halal Haram without realizing the positive benefits of an activity, is one of the causes of depression and frustration to the Muslim Ummah.
The last stroke:
One can donate the whole of his/her body to Allah by participating in Jihad, then why not donate an organ to save one human being created by the same Allah?Allah ki makhlooq se nafrat Allah se nafrat hai.
