Salam To All Member's Once Again, I am back once again and this time i am back with some ideas to Stop Spam on PKP cz i have been Receiving many Spam e-mail's frm our Beloved Banned* Member's so i thought tht this is it....! Admin should Ban there IP's so tht they cannot Join Us again Unless they get a New Connection or they live in Pakistan.
P.S. In Pakistan we have Dynamic IP's but i am not sure abt Other Countries i guess they have Static Connections.

It remains to be seen as you have said. We are not bothered about spam. As far as admin is concerned he can forward an issue to authorities who are authorized to dig out miscreants from ISPs. Makes sense. Anyway lets see what you have to say....

well a member mentioned tht we should Switch to vbulletin or Phpbb or u can also use Advanced WP Plug-in's to Track User's.

Why not to do a very simple job?
Make a Rule that every Scholar should come up at the Forum with his original name not with a screen name.
All the writers at the Newspapers and participants at Media never use a fictitious name to conceal their recognition.
Hasan Nisar is Hasan Nisar, Nazir Naji is Nazir Naji,
Mujeeb ul Rahamn Shami is Mujeeb ul Rahman Shami.
Tallat Husain is Talaat Husain, Nidai Hasan is Nadia Hasan,
Beena is Beena, Fahim is Fahim, Javed Sheikh is Javed Sheikh, Semirxa is Semirza
(Of course there are some poets, we don't know about their original names.)
Well it depends if any member likes to post using their names as IDs, there is no objection. But than again hiding real names also has some reasons.

But that would break another set of rules;Privacy Laws!!
Plus the threads initiated that way could also end up in personal real life threats hence the need to have privacy laws.The idea should not be to tell the real location and name of the individual(which could be used for further spam and harassment)but the real intent and background mentality of the individual.The rules should not be contradictory which means that by following one rule,it should not violate the other rules.And by your suggestion it will violate the other.Hence its a world wide accepted practice to have a screen name.Show me a single forum where they ask people to show their real name and exact place?You wont find it.

ps.nazir naji or others are paid heavily to appear that way.If you pay other individuals heavily to write that way then they can 'volunteer' to disclose their original identity and location and hence face it for what they are paid to write.Though even Nazir naji wont dare to disclose his real place of dwell even if he is paid bonuses!

phpBB or vBulletin do not integrate with Wordpress.

The spam blocker by IP you mentioned above, works with the Wordpress, which we use for comments on the main site. Can you suggest a plugin for http://bbpress.org/ which would block spammer from an IP.

What spam emails are you talking about? I've never gotten any. Are emails addresses not protected here?

i was not gone cz of Exams,my new Semester has started and this time i have evening Classes :( i thought Evening Session will be better as compared to Morning but it is Worse then Morning.

Don't integrate it just make a New Sub-Domain Or Sub-Directory but if you like it this way i will search for Some Plug-in's tht can help you in Fighting SPAM..!!!!!!!!
P.S. I was talking abt e-mails frm Mulla's google group.

You can delete your membership from that google group as no one has forced you to join. Also if you want, you can always change your membership settings and choose to "Not recieve" any emails from that group. Anyway, I have changed your email settings to "No email"
This Group doesnt belong to Me or Mulla or anyone. Initially this group was formed as a backup for this site as few times PKpolitics was down. Later we decided to form a group of educated pakistanis who can come together and do some thing practically for their country. Their are or were not religious groups and the only common thing between us is the love for Pakistan and wish to see it progress.
