I am not Javed Hashmi adressing Faisalabad Jalsa - Aitezaz

    Today while addressing PPP crowd when Aitezaz Ahsan said,
    "Mein Javed Hashmi nahi jo Faisalabad Jalsa se khitaab kar raha ho"....

    Javed Hashmi once a hero; a symbol of loyalty; is now seen as a symbol of "Ghaddari" and that too by none other than one of the most respected and seasoned politician who incidentally is not a PMLN member.
    i couldn't help saying
    "Suraiya se zameen pe aasmaan ne hum ko de maara"
    JH and IK should remember one more verse of Iqbal also which especially IK never forgets mentioning in his sermons:
    "Wafadaari ba-shart e ustawari asl eemaan hai
    Mare but-khaney mein tu kaabey mein garoo barehman ko"

    Aitezaz Ahsan is indeed no Javed Hashmi. No wonder he did not have the guts to criticize the shenanigans of his leadership culminating in the shameful NRO that Benazir Bhutto signed with Musharraf.

    When he was younger, he had more of a conscience. This is why he chose to resign from PPP and join Tehreek-i-Istiqlal when Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto massively rigged the elections in 1977 and then tried to brutally supress opposition protests.

    شائد ہاشمی صاحب اور میاں صاحب دونوں کو یہ بھی پتہ ہے کہاں غلطی ہوئی ہے
    مشکل فیصلہ رہا ہوگا، وجوہات سیاسی نہیں ہونگی، نتائج غیر یقینی ہونگے
    اعتزاز بھی اسی لیے گریزاں ہونگے
    اب تو دعا ہی دی جا سکتی ہے

    Aik saksh jis ka hamari nazar mei itna muqam tha woh jab "Jhoot,Raya aur Bohtaan" ke sayee mei jaa betha tu phir:
    "Dil hi tu hai na sang o khisht dard se bhar na aaye kiyon"

    Hum kia janein ke yeh jhagra Damad ke Ticket ka tha ya koi aur ghussa tha...hamein tu es baat ka dukh hai k hamaara baghi ab Ghaddar kehlaata hai:(

    This reminds me of PTI's supporters' enthusiasm a few days ago when they saw a fair chance of Aitezaz Ahsan's joining PTI. Welcome to power politics!
