Civil Governments in Pakistan have very limited scope.
I asuure this attack saga will end up when an ISAF chief will fly in Pakistan and meet Viceroy

Supplies to NATO and ISAF suspended !
The are asked to leave Shamsi airbase within 15 days. I believe same will be the case with ghazi airbase and other secretly given bases.
Is it not enough? War is the last solution. War dragged US to economic crises, what will be our situation?

Bro, we first need to decide whether Shamsi Airbase belongs to us or someone else. The base is in the sovereign territory of Pakistan but was leased out to UAE who in turn sub-leased it to USAF/CIA/JSOGS!!! Even a bona fide Banana Republic would feel insulted to be equated with a little hick country like Pakistan.

No one made hue and cry when Soviet planes bombed Pakistani tribal areas back in the 1980s during Afghan Fasad. One of my Jamati uncles (now dead) called every dying Pakistani "shaheed" and silenced me. I strongly protested and argued with him over our failed foreign/security policy during the 80's but he used word jihad 10 times in 1 minute and stronly defended our defective foreign policy.
People should not make any hue and cry over the death of Pakistani soldiers; they all are shaheed. History is once again repeating itself.

Your childish rhetorical question has a simple answer; if Pakistan's military has any sense they will extricate themselves from this so called war on terror in a nice and amicable way with all the best bands and red carpets rolled out to say 'au revoir' to our American friends. To break the stick in the process of killing a snake is a trade of an idiot. Lets not be idiots.
And yes, sunshine, no one can take on the Americans militarily, unless of course you suffer from some form of psychological delusion.

The culprits are there in both the military set-up and the political set-up. Neither class can sacrifice the billions which comfort our generals and politicians with luxuries. The nation has to pay heavy price for the comforts of generals and politicians. The 24 soldiers killed in the NATO attack were of the low ranks. They were from the public paying heavy price for the American billions.

You would be surprised to know that when a Colonel of Pakistan army is promoted to a Brigadier, he is sent to the United States for a stint at West Point or other American Command Staff College for a minimum of six months. I have yet to ascertain as to what is the purpose of such deputations apart from the fact that such brigadiers go through an indoctrination and get identified to take over civilian leaderships in the future or come back to Pakistan to be Uncle Sam's eye and ear on Pakistan Army.
I have a Brigadier in the family who has been in USA for the last one year, all expense paid!

You are right to the point that the students who do not qualify for professional degree courses move to army selection centres. However, the criteria are strong for selection. Some students who are brilliant but can't score good marks in HSC get selected. The training and educational standards are good in the army academies. The soldiers get fairly promoted up to the rank of colonel. Above that position, lobbies work behind the soldiers who are to be promoted to higher positions. This is not the case in our rival Indian army. Their soldiers are promoted on merit basis to the highest ranks.
The events of Abbotabad, PNS Mehran and the check post have raised many questions marks about the competence of our high ups in the armed forces.

The usual BS. PPP are satisfied as long as they are allowed to loot and plunder. Mean time the GHQ is using them for their own purpose i.e. the foreign policy is GHQ mad and the face to run the policy is that of PPP. Both PPP and GHQ are playing a disgusting role!

This was a purely military failure, nothing to do with PPP government. Now the military is hiding behind the civilian government.
How come the media not discussing the failure of Military.

لیکن کسی نے ساتھ نہیں دیا بلکہ حکومت نے الٹا اسکے خلاف طرح طرح کی الزام تراشی شروع کر دی تھی
شائد یہی وجہ ہے فوج اس دفعہ سوکھی سوکھی چھوٹ رہی ہے بلکہ انکی امیج بلڈنگ ہو رہی ہے
