No, its not Taliban, its al-qaeda. Taliban do not have global ambitions; Alqaeda has and by Al-Qaeda I mean the arabs who are working from Afghanistan. We must keep a close eye on such individuals and organisations and condem them.
Recently we saw Al-Shabab in Somali who were involved in violence against masses and blasphemous acts against shrines and violence against fellow muslims who belonged to other sects.

They do not call themselves arabs. They intermarried the pashtun girls and will live their. One Question : Why did the Mujahideen from Hijaz (they call themselvs from Hijaz and not saudi that is name of a tribe) got married to local girls. The Pashtuns did not give their daughters easily to outsiders?
Al Shabab have support of majority of younger generation. The old guard was engaged in grave worship and it was correct to demolish those idols. America is afraid to, others to confront shabaab. America knows what happened to Black Hawk down.
Hijaazi arabs fooled pashtoons into believing they are mujahideeens. Actually they did not fool them, they were called mujahideen during soviet war but they are a lot of mislead and lost people.
This is an old custom in arabs to use marriages as a tool to strengthen their social position.
And by the way, it is not just hijaazi arab, many of them have come from Middle East, including Egypt and other areas.

I feel that just like the early followers of Islam came and spread Islam , these selfless Mujahideen left their homes, families and material wealth to engage in Jihad against a super power. Jihad is still obligatory as the country is occupied by other super power. "Lost" people will not leave their homes and families to die in a strange land.
Thousands were shaheed fighting the Russians and 90% were from Hijaz.
This will probably make you feel happy.

Why should Pakhtoon give their daughters to Arabs "Mujahideen" why it is not vice versa ?
why not the daughter of arab "mujhahid" given to Afghan Mujahid ?

Will they take their daughters to Jihad? Even if they wanted to bring their daughters, Who will gaurantee that they will not end up in Guantanamo or US prisons or Bagram like Afia Siddiqui.

@skyfacts - what they are actually worried about is the imminent khilafah state. they link terrorism and extremism with the call for a khilafah state so as to create a negative public opinion even before it is launched. but as the Quran says, they plan and He (SWT) plans, and He (SWT) is the best of all planners.

Jihad as a means to implement sharia in the absence of a khilafah is not the method of the Prophet (SAW). and anyway, the real jihad i.e. offensive jihad cannot be done without a khilafah.

No Brother, That is not correct. Jihad can be done as it is being done today in various fronts and it is in full swing as we discuss here as cyber Jihadis. It does not matter whether it is defensive or offensive. Although most fronts are in a state that does not warrant offensive Jihad at this stage, nevertheless it can be done in areas where it is feasible.

That means if i enter your home and plunder then you shouldnt do offensive jihad against me cause its not the way of Islam or I should wait for khilafah to be established then I would defend myself.
And if you agree that its perfectly alright to defend urself without the declaration from khalifah then how would you go for those who are waging resistance against imperialism and how you would define those people who are still fighting in afghanistan against "ghus bathiyea"...without any khilafa in place?
You cant have pie and eat it at the same time.

You cannot have cart before the horse. The Mujahideen are immersed in Jihad to make way for ultimate Khilafa. No need of Khilafa at this point. Are those shedding blood against Kuffar in Chechnya, Iraq, Afghanistan and other Jihad fronts. This looks like a perfect Kuffar plan to keep you away from Jihad. It is fard Ain to join the brothers and you are talking about Khalifa. Genocide is under way and we tunr our backs to Jihad and wait for a Khalifa?

brothers...hold on...don't be too judgmental. by offensive jihad i mean the jihad when the khaleefah gives dawah of Islam to a non-muslim land, if they don't accept the dawah, the khaleefah offers them protection and in return they have to give jizya, and if they dont accept this offer then the khaleefah sends his ameer-jihad to deal with any "obstruction" the path of the dawah. that's i was talking about the jihad that removes this obstruction.
i did not mean to say that the struggle going on in Afghanistan is not jihad. may Allah help them and accept their sacrifices.
