IK doesn't like Ch.Shujjat

IK left PM after supporting him in the un-constituional referendum in April 2002. He has sought / tendered his public apology from the nation. There are two versions why he left PM after supporting all his un-constitutional acts

    a) MUsh refused to make him PM (IK Opponents view)
    b) Mush has gathered the corrupt politicitians around him . IK's view.

I take IK's view on face value .

But it leads to another question. Who joined mush in 2002 and who is not with IK now. To me prominent figure /family left is Chaudarys of Gujrat.

It leads me to speculate that IK doesn't like Ch.Shujjat face or may be is unable to understand (as most of people) when he speaks.

    Any guess guys ?

When was the last time you heard IK criticising Matti Pao, Pervaiz Elahi or Moonis Elhai. So much so, IK gave Matti Pao a certificate of being the only genuine opposition in Pakistan last year.

lol ! I didn't expect you to take it seriously!
But yes it does hold some truth.
Remember the term very popular in those days "DEBRIEFING by NAB" that led to all of these like sheeda, fasial saleh mushahid hussain to support PM.
That process was underway from 13th oct 1999.
It was question of bargainig ; how high can you sell your skull!

Back then Choudhries were highly unpopular and were well known as thugs of Gujrat, I think that was it. But having said that, there is no point in dwelling on this issue because a lot of water has flown under the bridge since then.

Let's talk about where we are now, because if we can go back 10 years than we can sure as heck go back 25 years, this is something that noon league never understands!

    @Sharif Aadmi,

Bhaijee, just wait for the day when Musharraf will be labeled as Mard-e-Momin Marde-e-Haq by Establishment Khan himself. Just like the Legharis, Tareens and Makhdooms, all the sins of Ustad Tablas master will be washed away.

    @Shraif Aadmi,

Nope, absolutely not, you are putting your words in my mouth! I said choudharies were extremely corrupt and still are because politics is their profession and this how they make money.

Tareen is a wealthy businessman, and he was satisfied by the amount of wealth he amassed. Lagharis, I don't know much about them but I know for sure that Awais Lagharis was behind the telecom revolution in Pakistan, he was the brains behind granting telecom licenses to many mobile phone companies.

There is no charge of corruption on Shah Mehmood Qureshi but he is an opportunist with a dubious character.

    Qaiser Bahi,

About Mr.Clean 'Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari'

Do u remember Steel Mill Privitization Case ? Yes, the same privitization case where steel mill was being sold in about 22 billions . Do u know who was privitizaiton minser presiding this dubious transaction which was over turned by honbourable SC of pakistan ? Yes, it was Mr.Clean 'Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari .

On your telecom revolution , when he became telecom minister in 2002 , there were already 3/4 companies like Paktel , motrolo and ufone operating. Telecom is a new secotr which was booming all over the world so nothing new in pakistan.

    Abour Tareen,

He is one of the members of sugar catel which was held responsbile for sugar shortages in past few years. Yes he is member of that cartel along with Sharif and Ch family.

Bahi meeray , there is nothing wrong in supporting a party but please keep your eyes open.

Well, my opinion is that steel mill should be privatised no matter what, it's a giant basket case! Khawajah Asif was Minister of Privatization during the Nineties and he made a lot of dubious deals but this is always the case in these deals. Lack of transparency leads to such situations and PTI would implement a transparent style of government.

No worries Sharif Admi Sb. when a leader is honest his honesty trickles down but if a leader is corrupt and dishonest than his ministers follow suit.

Tareen is one of many suger mill owners so it's wrong to blame him alone, what makes you think it was him? It could've been any one!

He is the highest tax paying MNA in the assembly BTW, and we know for sure that he ain't the richest!

    Qaisar Nadeem,

Bahi meeray , Supreme court of Pakistan had to intervene and cancel the deal of Pakistan Stell. Can't you see what does that mean ?

I have been observing the privitization since 90's but can't remember any deal which was overturned by SC.

Btw, did u know that Leghari was privitization minister then and what SC said ?

    or ?

Well I think you did hence you are complaining about it, aren't you saying that process was corrupt?

If it was a transparent process than no corruption would have taken place now?

    No Sir,

I didn't say that process was corrupt.

Supreme court of Pakistan said that there were gross irregularies in the privitization of Pakistan steel.

I just said that Mr.Clean 'Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari' presided over that deal. Even didn't say what comments were passed by honourable Supreme Court.

And for your kind knowledge, i m not against privitzation at all.

Secondly , no bank was privitzaed when Kh.Asif was chairman privitzation commission.

    Qaisar Bahi,

    For your kind knowledge,

    http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=20066\24\story_24-6-2006_pg1_1

look at paragraph 2 which says
    '
bench, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, said in its ruling that the privatisation process had been “vitiated by legal violations by state functionaries, including acts of omissions and commissions”. It said that the government was giving “extra benefits to the successful bidders”.
    '

And Mr.Clean 'Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari' was minister incharge i.e. privitization commission.

And about AAAla Hazrat Tareen Sahib, i said one of the members of sugar cartel. NOhting more than that sir :)
