    The leader of ILZAMIs produced yet another bongi !!!

    In replying to Ch. Nisar's statement, ILZAM £han claimed that two wickets on the same ball are possible and he gave the example that when last man in an inning gets out on a ball, the non-striker batsman is also out.

    Seems like dementia is catching up with the old man. Poor chap seems to have forgotten that the non-striker in this case returns not-out !!!!

    And congrats to Tehreek-i-ILZAM on being provided the services of Sardar Ghulam Abbas from Chakwal. Seems like all musharraf and Q-league die hard supporters and champions of corruption have been given a go ahead to join ILZAM £han.

    Relax buddy. Don't take such statements so seriously.

    "non-striker in this case returns not-out !!!!"

    But he still has to get out ;)

    I think that we all know that..it was merely rhetoric about two wickets.. figure of speech...not technically possible...lets not grill IK on that ...there are several important issues contradictions about his policies, past roles that need to be addressed clarified by him, and these are already being discussed on this forum.

    Hard to tell, but crowd seems comparable with Faislabad jalsa. At least no one is walking away while the speeches are going on.....

    @Adonis,

    You don't understand, technically the second player will end up "out" of the ground and the inings will end.

    Politics is not cricket anyways, and in politics the condition of attaining only one wicket on one delivery does not necessarily exist!

    Could you please start relevant threads about what you claim as inconsistencies. Please also ensure that particular thread has not been initiated already!

    @Adonis,

    What about your leader, Nawas Sharif? Is he not a "champion of corruption."

    I am sure you will ask for proofs, now do that in the case of Ghulam Abbas and co.

    btw ..i have issues about "your leader" "my leader" ...they are all national leaders...we need to start to be a bit more objective in our assessments...lets not be so partisan...think before blindly supporting anyone even though they maybe from your own party... :)

    But it is ILZAMIs who are posing as holier than thou ...

    If your party is composed of the same garbage which you accuse others of having, then why one should vote for you?

    Good.....As earlier mentioned. PTI doesn't have angels. There are good people (most of them), There are people in the grey area (made corrupt by the system) and there will be a few who are outright corrupt people. The question will be how will PTI deal with them? Will they be protected? or will they be thrown out and asked to clear themselves?

    Please start your threads and we can (hopefully) have a sober debate. I totally agree with you that the best way forward is to be objective and be able to criticize own ranks too.

    @scandinavian

    he might be, but he should fight on his strengths and policies...the goodwill he already...instead of being cynical and accusatory all the time

    There is no positive messages in his speeaches..it is filled with venom for AAZ and NS...and when he goes on attacking ..then the oppposing leaders get defensive and reply in the same token ...which is not taken nicely

    plz promote politics of decency and fight on your strengths and some positivity and less cynicism plzz

    @Arif786

    I do not agree.

    1. He has to pin point the ills in our society. That is primarily bad governance. Both PPP and Pml-N are the guilty part. The same goes for the army. The latter is the biggest culprit in my view since the nurtured the monsters. People who are for sale for GHQ etc. can also be for sale for foreign powers. That has exactly happened in PAK. If they had changed they would have challenged the GHQ and told them not to interfere in the governance of PAK, but they didn't as long as they ruled. Only when they are ousted they cry foul. You can see a good example in PPP of today. They are going alongside the GHQ, but as soon as they are kicked out they will start crying that they are not allowed to rule. What they need to do is to decide for fresh elections if the GHQ make obstacles ion their way. As earlier mentioned they don't because they are fully engaged in loot and plunder. Exactly the same is the case with PML-N. In other words you have to pin point evil!

    2. PTI is POSITIVE in the sense that they promise to bring honor to the green passport and make use of Pakistans immense natural resources by making the environment for investment. By making rule of law a major task. Only if we have rule of law we will have expats and other nations as Chinese to invest in our country.

    " ............ If they had changed they would have challenged the GHQ and told them not to interfere in the governance of PAK, but they didn't as long as they ruled...."
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    But these pearls of wisdom do not apply to Nawaz Sharif when he challenged GHQ's interference twice during his rule. He is still a villain for Ilzamis because as long as he is alive, Ilzam £han can not become prime minister.

    We will not. PTI with Imran Khan has promised that and we will hold Imran Khan accountable for that! He will NOT be given a free ride to do deliberate wrong doings. He will be made accountable for all his deeds! personally I will be among the first to criticize him if he transgresses!

    awesome...ur ressurance is most welcome...btw we should keep this forum sane and civil despite ideological difference ...

    i for myself have leftist views, am anti establishment and part of the NOT so moral brigade, but i can accept difference of opinion and would always let majority to carve the way forward...

    why cant we have equally honest ppl from PPP, PML, PTI, other parties to choose from...why should nt we be spoilt with options by the good candidate available...this would only happen if we stop bickering, infighting, do positive criticism and let the system run..let democracy weed out the bad elements...

    Posted 3 years ago on 25 Nov 2011 12:22 #

    Definitely, democracy should be allowed to weed out bad elements. This is how it has been done the world over.

    However, some of us are too impatient and believe that this weeding out has to be done immediately and GHQ is the only one who can do that. Unfortunately, this "quick fix" takes us back to square one.

    @Arif786

    I think we agree in principle on many issues.

    "awesome...ur ressurance is most welcome...btw we should keep this forum sane and civil despite ideological difference ..."

    I second your stance.

    "i for myself have leftist views, am anti establishment and part of the NOT so moral brigade, but i can accept difference of opinion and would always let majority to carve the way forward..."

    Maybe we are on the same lines, but I sometimes get a little worried about our way of being "leftist". Maybe you can elaborate yourself.

    "why cant we have equally honest ppl from PPP, PML, PTI, other parties to choose from...why should nt we be spoilt with options by the good candidate available...this would only happen if we stop bickering, infighting, do positive criticism and let the system run..let democracy weed out the bad elements..."

    I would love to have such an atmosphere where people have a genuine choice between different parties, but here you have traditional parties who not anything but loot an plunder. How else these politicians became so rich? The Sharifs, Chadhries, Zardaris, Dar's. Khawajas etc.

    My problem with these parties of status quo (Adonis is part of it) is that they rightly say that democracy MUST have a chance, but the problem is they do not take proper action to get people out of their miseries. F.ex. not Punjab is beating the drums about them being better than the other provinces. That might be true, but who the heck you are comparing yourself with? Aim for something bigger and don't go for the minimum solution! Pakistan is NOT a poor country it is a POORLY administered country!
