    What a revelation. So this great IK is on the payroll of agencies not today but since 90's. Hameed Gul was heading ISI in 90' and IK and Hameed Gul has close ties since then. Now after this eye opening revelation, Edhi should be ready for a lot of bashing from the Pti net fan club.

    That would be the BIGGEST SLAP on the face of Imran Khan and his Internet Based Fanclub.....If this statement started to be used for Politics this could cause irreparable Damage to Imran Khan....

    old story

    The PTI Chairman Mr Imran Khan has met Mr Edhi only once and that was when he was collecting funds for SKMT in 1994. He met on the recommendation of Dr Haroon who was the physio of the Pakistan team. Mr Khan remembers that Dr Haroon was also the Trustee of the Edhi Foundation and he insisted with Mr Khan that Edhi Sahib is in London and that they must meet up. Khan Sahib was then neither in politics nor was he interested in politics.

    Khan Sahib says that he met with Mr Edhi in London. Mr Khan remembers that all that transpired, details of which can still be confirmed from Dr Haroon, was that as there were only two major NGO’s on Pakistan then SKMT and Edhi, they both should form a pressure group to push the government into spending more on Health, Education and Welfare. The discussion of a pressure group was purely in this regard. Mr Imran Khan never met Mr Edhi along with Lt Gen ® Hameed Gul, and never was any discussion held with Mr Edhi regarding politics. Mr Khan continues to respect Mr Edhi for his philanthropic work.

    I would request all of you to put this clarification everywhere Mr Edhi’s statement is being printed, and would also request Mr Omar Cheema to issue a press release to the paper where Mr Edhi’s statement has been published.

    Desperation of PML(N) is clear. they are sinking fast. I urge them to focus on the real issues or they will keep sinking just like they have been sinking for last 3 years.

    I agree with you. Edhi is the most respected and honest person in Pakistan. This statement of Edhi is so shocking for all of us. This statement will definitely tarnish the image and will again expose the establishment's puppet IK.

    So you are saying that Edhi is LYING despite he CLEARLY Named Imran Khan and Hameed Gul both?????I dont think so and I also dont think he would ever be Guest in SCRIPTED program either so I think the ball is on Hameed Gul's and Imran Khan's court now.....Imran Khan needs to Clarify his position with Hameed Gul cause or Hameed Gul should make clear about his past Business with Imran Khan as no SANE and SENSIBLE person would ever judge Mr. Edhi's Credibility cause his life itself is Proof of that.....

    Criticizing PML (N) over the Edhi's revelation would not help IK. By the way if Edhi has given the name of NS instead of IK then you would be the first person to start a thread to malign NS. From your logic either Edhi or IK is liar. But from the flip flop history of IK's politics during last 10 years and high level of Edhi's credibility there is no doubt in the truthfulness of Edhi's statement.

    What Edhi said was "Meray Paas aik group aata tha.Hameed Gul aur Imran Khan the.Mujhe dhamkian di theen aur uthan ke le jane ki".When did Imran meet Edhi?Is there any record?Edhi did not give any record.Perhaps being uneducated he has problem in communication.Imran met once Edhi that too in London.

    How could Edhi topple Benazir Govt?The old man has never been of any use.

    The real story was "Hameed Gul wanted help from the icons of society to topple Benazir Govt and Imran Khan being the educated unlike Edhi stood against Benazir corruption.Hameed Gul might have contacted Edhi to become part of struggle.And Edhi denied as he claims of.Whether Hameed Gul threatened him or not,God knows but it has nothing to do with Imran."

    Edhi needs to get himseld a bit educated so that he can tell things clearly to people.And London wale sarkar needs to be a bit peaceful.Shaed ab to unko aisi aadat si ho gai hai voilence kerwane ki aur samjhte hain k her koi threats pe siasat kerta hai.
