The current scenario demands that Pakistan should keep a low profile since we are having all kind of problems, but we will NEVER forget Kashmir. The first option should be a genuine effort to solve the issue peacefully. Until now the army has had this "genie in the bottle" to keep their own needs highlighted, but a future government should confine the army to it's rightful role and start genuine negotiations and also put international pressure on India to solve the issue peacefully. If we have true representatives of the masses, then it's a workable way to find a solution - otherwise we must wait until we are strong enough to put another kind of pressure on India.

Nice article indeed!! well said by hameed gull and mej.G.jamshed, we should not sidelined Kashmir issue, this is another matter that we are totally surrounded by enemies inside and outside of our borders and our focus on kashmir at the moment just disappeared due to our internal matters in balouchstan, wazirstan and we have to clean our home first whom our enemies are using to weak our sovereignty.

During last 64 years, our Kashmir policy has proved counter productive and resulted in havoc economically and socially.

Pakistan should stop the claims beyond its reach.

Kashmiris should take this burden on their shoulders now. If Kashmiris are satisfied with India who we are to interfere ?

The foundation of Pakistan is cracked due to Kashmir policy handlers, Pakistan has been broken into two pieces in 1971,
heavy defense expenditures on the cost of poor people is no more bearable.

Pakistan should adopt policy of strengthening its economy, people, education, health, employment.

    Manmohan is absolutely right.

Forget kashmir. Make LOC an international border.

It's not about Pakistan forgetting but India stopping it's brutality, if you can empower the kashmiris with liberty and freedom then your problems would abate but as it it just carry on blaming Pakistan for everything as usual and stick your own head in the ground and that will solve everything, NOT!
