    The one I am trying to find had links to some personal website with downloadable PDFs.

    I am looking for downloadable books so I can read without internet.

    Well, book reading can be done with much cheaper devices. I'm sorry I can't be any help. Reading books online isn't an easy thing to do (for me)!

    I know, there are cheaper alternatives available. I used to think the same about electronic books until I did that on iPad.

    @msohail83

    Instead of Safari you can use 'skyfire' browser that you can download from App Store for 4.99$ to play flash content.
