Is Govt Of Pakistan not taking the Taliban/Al qaeda threat seriously?

(65 posts)
  1. Pakistan shaken by fresh attacks Gunmen have attacked law enforcement buildings in Pakistan, with at least 18 people reported killed in Lahore and eight in a suicide bombing elsewhere.

At what time the Govt. of Pakistan is going to deal with these Shitan molvies running around freely all over the country killing people at will. How many innocent people have to die before this meance is taken on seriously and this virus is eradicated.

i don't think arresting all the maulvies in pakistan is the answer.

how do you prevent such attacks from taking place? its not easy...

if you picked up a gun and 'barged in to' your local police station i'm pretty sure that you'd do some damage before they took you out. In a society where weapons and ammunition are easily available its next to impossible to monitor and prevent every single attack in a country of 170m people

Terrorism does not have anything to do with religion and maulvis. Its strings are not being pulled here. The puppet master is somewhere else.

Dont get befooled by the claims of being muslim of the terrorists. The beard does not mean Muslim.

i thinks its about time we took collective responsibility for our actions.

Fact 1: The terrorists are home grown

Fact 2: They believe (maybe wrongly) that they are doing this for the greater good of the muslim ummah

Fact 3: the terrorists have support because the state of pakistan has failed to provide good governance to its people

Possibility 1: Yes they may be recieving financing from external (international) parties Although i believe it is more likely extremist groups as opposed to any state actors

So lets 'jhanko' inside our own 'ghareban' before we start screaming and yelling about zionist/catholic/hindu/aetheist/cubist/disneyist conspiracies.

    @gv,

Have you heard the story of the wolf and lamb?

This is the present day story of the wolf and lamb in which Islam is being blamed for all this trouble and the wolf US and allies are getting their benefit of controlling important resources one by one. US is sitting in all the sources of power. Arabs are already in its pocket. Every Arab state has their military base. The others which are not helping them are helping terrorism and hence this gives US an excuse to attack these places and control these areas.

    We are the Victims.

just because our political leaders never played their cards well ..if they were catch in a situation, where they have to support USA on war on terror ...they would have play their cards tactfully ....they should have used their role and ideal geography as a tool to bargain ...but they never did that and rather adapted a slave role and apologetic behavior all through the war ...
civilian Govt has following the foot steps of a loser general ...so is going to lose any way ...
as rules of the game are already has been decided ...
we have to lose at the end.
    its given.

    deja vu!

the american intelligence agencies in Pakistan have once again became active to create public opinion in favor of an operation in south waziristan.

this drive is running on the same lines as 3-4 months ago when they carried out attacks and bomb blasts throughout Pakistan to create public opinion in favor of the swat operation. they even picked the same places as before - manawaan police training facility

i don't think anybody with any common sense is blaming 'islam' per se.

Intelligent people blame the perpretrators who have manipulated and distorted a religion to their advantage -

This is why secularists argue for separation for church and state because history has proven that religion is easily and frequently hijacked for political advantage usually resulting in violence, bloodshed and social chaos.

Do you not see the bastardized Nationalists imitators screaming for change in the Constitution.

Do you not see a mass level of campaign to change the public opinion to start doubting its own soldiers and their capabilities

DO you not see the end game is to show a weak Pakistan

Do you not see the end game is to remove Pakistan Nukes and its capabilities.

For years our nuclear research hasnt been even given a chance to work on the public sector by so called b-hangis within our govt who act as nationalists.

Did you not hear the newstory that Vicky Mallu's country didnt have a nuke test blast it was more liek a tini winnies far-t after eating masala doosa which they termed as nuke.

  23. Pakistan is in deep dilemma because of Shitan Molvies and their paid indoctrained delusional symphatizers. The usual conspiracy theorists have been frothing at the mouth with conspiracy theories. The Shitan molvies killing Pakistani civilians and the military were "misguided" and were only doing so because the Americans were in Afghanistan. It all starts with "if the Americans were not in Afghanistan…" to give the impression that these are peace-loving people who are only killing and maiming Pakistani citizens because they are "misguided." "Misguided" adults do not kill innocent people. The shitan molvies have executed four high-impact attacks in the past ten days, which have taken a total of 170 lives. This is not the work of "misguided" people. These are cold-blooded killers who have no hesitation in carrying out what they have been indoctrinated to believe is a "higher cause." Pakistan needs to be cleansed by this Shitan molvie virus if we are to live in peace. The shitan molvie virus is more dangerous than swine flu virus because it kills on impact.

This double game of the heads of states of USA, KSA & Pakistan in Afghanistan since 1975 (when bhutto laid the foundation of interference in internal matters of Afghanistan by helping hikmatyar & rabbani in ousting Dauds govt) have resulted in the total destruction of Afghanistan, Iraq & now Pakistan.

The real culprit is Double Game by same characters.

And you people for fun either justifying first half of the game or second half of the game while truth of the matter is that both halves of the game are brutal & cruel.

Don't focus so much on face that you forget the character.

If you want to be beautiful per Allah's definition, then also see what message/guidance Allah swt has on how to keep face. Don't attribute your own definitions to Allah swt without proof.

Asif, please forgive the non-serious comments. yeh do bhaiyon ka pyar hai. i hope you understand :)

anyway, i am not justifying any "half". all im saying is that this is a propaganda to create public opinion in favor of the south waziristan operation on the same lines as the swat operation.

the presence of CIA/blackwater/marines in Pakistan is a reality and they are not there without any reason. i dont buy the argument that they are here so that the aid money does not fall in the wrong hands. israel receives 3 billion dollars each year and yet none of those agencies have such a big presence there.

so one is compelled to think that there must be a greater reason for them being here. and frankly its easy to connect the dots.

Bomb everything in FATA, kill everyone who comes in your way, kill the famililies of terrorist. Bomb whatver comes in your way be more cruel than terrorists teach them such a lesson that there next 1000 generations will not go near terrosisam again. "Kill ever mullah who preach hatred. Ban shia, suni, wahabi , bravli etc every sect in Pakistan."

Traditional madrassah & mullah was preaching something that was not so effective to create that kinna hatered which leads to mass killings.

So the heads of states of US, Saudia & Pakistan took the responsibilty on their own shoulders & launched a stimulus plan. Built thousands of shelters to house hundreds of thousands warriors & named these shelters as madrassahs to legalise them, named these warriors as jihadiest, brain-washed them thru paid mullahs & launched an assault on Afghanistan.

these were the heroes of reagan, zia & shiekh.

    then again things started diluting.

And this time again the heads of states of US, Saudia & Pakistan introduced another stimulus plan but this time for the militaries of these states to kill their predecessors heroes, declared them terrorists & jihad as terrorism.

These stimulus packages by the heads of states of US, Saudia & Pakistan worked perfectly well to create hatered up to the extant that ensured mass killings.

    Job well done.

And last but not least thanks to bhutto for showing the world a way to exploit the internal leadership crisis of Afghanistan to create hatered for mass killings. Bhutto was the first Pakistani head of state who laid the foundation of interferring in Afghanistans internal matters by helping hikmatyar & rabbani to oust dauds govt.
