Is "Hate" Essential Feul of all Pakistani Political Parties and This Blog?

As an independent observer with no affliation with Pakistani political parties and other state players, I am amazed by the amount of hateful and negative messages from almost everyone.

Is "Hate" Essential Feul of all Pakistani Political Parties and This Blog?

Remember there is a big difference between "Truth" to discuss an issue and "Hate" to demonize other.

I decided to support PTI because I hated Nawaz sharif and Zardari. so I guess hate is essential fuel for pakistani politics.

آج عمران خان میاں صاحب کے ساتھ کوئی سمجوتا کر لے اور میاں صاحب کو اپنا لیڈر مان لے تو کیا آپ پھر بھی میاں صاحب کو نفرت کریں گے ؟

    Sipahi sahib,

Good question and thanks for asking for opinion.

I dont think "hate" is an essential element in our politics , may be it has a small share.

In my opinion "greed" is the main ingredient that fuels our wrong ambitions in politics and rat race. It is more sad to see that this "greed" has infiltrated in all aspects of our lives.

When it comes to this blog and opinions, again I think "hate " has no role. In this case it is "blind following of leaders" that drives our negativity towards those who dont share our opinion.

What did you hate in Zardari and or Mian sahib.

Or what made you hate Zardari and Mian sahib?

Can you really hate anyone? I doubt if a fine person like you can hate anyone. In fact, I believe that hate is a very strong sentiment and it requires a lot of pain, grief, wrongdoing and disappointment to make someone hate anyone.

  6. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

"Hate" is the "base" or prerequisite of most, if not ALL "man made" political systems.

Hate? Not sure, I guess it's more of our extreme felling of dislike towards others and the way we express them.

Like in politics, I don't dislike or love AAZ or MNS or AH or AYW or IK or any other politician as a person, but I don't like their politics and policies and the way they govern Pakistan as that make a direct impact on my living as citizen of Pakistan. I guess what you perceive as hate, is basically extreme form of disliking expression for them and their policies.

It's less hate more "My selection or I Know the best". Every political supporter thinks that his leadership is "Perfect" and does NO mistakes. This is the point which leads us to Hatred by now accepting the facts.

I think we all must accept that our leadership are Humans and they can do the mistakes, once we accept the facts by acknowledging mistakes of our leaders we will have better analytical views. This will result in more harmony and respect to other`s views for objective discussion.

  9. I think there is no hate at work. Compared to western societies, our people are more connected at heart and don't want anyone hurt. Unfortunately our conversations are rude and crude. We need to learn how to make a point with polite words and calm manners.

@Gujjar You are right but in parallel we need to accept mistakes of our leadership otherwise we will always be biased.

@Gujjar Talwar: "We need to learn how to make a point with polite words and calm manners."

Completely agree, I wish our leaders and mass media follow the suit. Latest trend of this **** fighting in talk shows is not going to help us either.

I think there are no absolute rights or wrongs in politics. It all depends which side you are on. We are bound to differ but that does not mean we hate each other. We just need to manage our differences with some grace.

    Somebody posted comment sometime back
"Discuss to exchange the knowledge and ideas, Argue for ignorance".
Lots of comments and threads are results of ignorance.
I believe, those bloggers who are not installed or planted, their views tend to be balanced
