Pakistan has seen another very chaotic political situation in the recent past days when a scripted plotted character Brig Imtiaz came in the limelight to achieve the written objectives. This has also become clear as the TV channels has recently started programs as how they were used by this witty planned campaign. Undoubtedly the writers of this story got success in their plan to divert away the attention from many points which also includes Minus one formula. If we analyze the situation we find that following outcomes:

1-MQM got a chance to clear themselves and blame PML-N.
2-PML-N got embarrassed on basis of affidavit allegation of Gen. Asad Durrani.
3-Presidency got relief from the Minus One formula rumors.
4-Attention diverted away from the Rental Power Project Scandal.
5-Pak Army and its agencies were brought to question on political activities.
6-PML-N was forced to go on back footing on Article 6 Trial demand.
    7-Etc

So we can see that there were two main victims of this exercise viz a viz PML-N and Pak Army. In more open words we may say that PML-N got so serious wounds that they were going to lose their temper and also issued an ultimatum of 48 hours which was subsequently withdrawn.

On the other hand Pak Army remained very cool and calm and none of their corner uttered a single word about the whole scenario. Although Gen. Kiyani has been able to successfully tamed the uncontrollable horses of his house but now the fire work has hit them in a direct and indirect way. You must not forget that Gen. Kiyani is not a whole institution in himself but he is leading it which includes different dynamic minds. This was really a very painful period for them to swallow the direct hits with patience and not to react. But for how long this will last ???

We also know that politics is a dirty and merciless game in which players remain finding and waiting for the right time to hit the opposite. Do you think that PML-N has also started their homework on this aspect as well plus the corners of establishment have also got activated and they are going to hit the ball back to presidency's court ?

Next few months may be very sensational for our politics.

Zardari thought he had outfoxed everyone on judges issue but had to face utter embarrassment when Kiyani intervened to reinstate CJ Iftikhar.

This time again he thinks brig billa will bail him out of all the contentious issues (constitutional, security, governace, etc). He's made a big mistake of taking 'panga' with the military establishtment and this time thye'll put the last nail in the coffin.

Watch the events closely such as Iftar party by Kiyani to ex-generals, general Asad Durrani's reluctance to discuss the issue in detail on Kahif Abbasi's program, and two retired officers appearing on Nadeem Malik's program refusing to disclose anything they knew and demanding a political solution. It looks like they've devised a strategy to counter Billa & co.

    Lets see what happens next....

I feel that the concerned corners have started the process of dusting at first. Now there might of some media highlights on how this all happened and why this happened. It will add up to the charge sheet. MQM may also get the taste again. In a column today, it has been written that even in 1992 ISPR rejected Jinnah pur conspiracy and that was a final proof then why MQM today again started weeping on this issue.

Now another serious issue is related with Brig Billa. Regardless of how he was used, but now he is not required any more. Before he is questioned by the concerned, he has also issued statement against USA for being involved in the Gen. Ziaulhaq plane crash. I fear that Brig Billa may go out of scene permanently.

Whether politician took money or not , the fact is army officers are saying that they spent national exhequer out of they way . So what army could have said in all this ?

You are right AsifK that some army officials confessed that they distributed the amounts in politicians but those army officers were having clear ties with the politicians like Asad Durrani who was later appointed as an ambassador. The real problem occured that the recent campaign portrayed Army as an institution for political mess in the country. This was against the Kiyani doctrine and we should admit that he was successful in keeping the army away from politics but these fools have again tried to pull him in.
