    Uri Avnery -former member of the Knesset may write:
    To those who chant “Islam is the Solution”, our answer should be: “A just Peace is the Solution”.

    Removing the word Islam and replacing it with just makes no difference because the word Islam is derived for the Arabic root salema meaning peace.

    Justice is important and foremost for peace to prevail.

    Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    There is 'nothing' in this entire multi-verse (multiple universes) or even beyond, that can offer a 'standard' of justice 'better' than Islam.

    At the very best, what we'v been 'shown' is 'illusions' of justice, illusions that have been at work for lengthy a period (i.e., a century or above). This 'illusion' of justice is so 'fragile', it has been crashing, on itself, by its own self, every few years.

    I challenge the author or everyone/anyone who wants to 'compare' 'their' standards of justice with that of Islam.

    Let's not forget the "Islam is the solution" is NOT what Uri is saying as pointed out by the last line highlighted by SEMirza above.

    Another line that jumped at me right away (I must say I haven't read the full article yet) is:

    "ALL OVER the Arab world, this is a real dilemma. Free elections would bring fundamentalists to power."

    Dilemma? Why?? What about "democracy", eh Uri??

    But forgive Uri. He sometimes get lost -- like he gets lost about talking against Israel and yet declaring himself a proud Zionist. Go figure that one out ;-)

    (I am still trying to figure out his speaking against occupation while living on occupied land himself...)

    The last land Palestine was occupied using mass migration under a false pretext by Britain and America and named Israel.

    No more. That magic is over. Now all what neocon colonials face is defeat for the limies, the ausies, the kiwis or the gringos combined in Afghanistan.
