Thanks for starting this topic. I watched James **** first time in 1993, in a USA Public Television program NOVA - "Secrets of the Psychics". It is a worth watching program if you can find a good quality video from google or youtube. Many of the clips are available on the youtube.

Videos of James **** are a must watch for the people of subcontinent who believe in all kind of mystic phenomena, including the worshiping of dead and living persons [Sometimes animals too. No offense, it is a reality]. I wish some Pakistani private TV channel acquires the rights to air his videos with translation in Urdu and other languages.

Jim has confronted various psychics from Israel, Russia, Philippines, Europe and Americas. He debunked 100% of tricks presented to him. Too bad he did not come to the mystical land of India and Pakistan to enlighten a large segment of humanity.

Nota,

I am afraid not. Unless that Presidential Pir shows a direct physical and tangible effect on the rein of power, Jim cannot be of any help. He can only expose a physical act hiding behind a mystic goat.

**** has visited many places of the world to demystify the local psychics but he has missed the land of black magic so far.

Homeopathy is a billion dollar fraud being committed in the name of science.It is a pseudoscience and should be exposed.

You are right.All sorts of superstitions are prevalent in our society.Our women are more vulnerable to this kind of nonsense.The media can play an important role in educating the public but not enough is being done.

All sort of non-scientific beliefs and concepts are gradually being exposed and facing a stage of rejection due to information blast.

The situation could be very dangerous to cause a communal panic due to frustration for those who are banking on allusions and frauds.

The wave of suicide bombing is also related to the deep feeling of frustration due to exposure.

what is rational and non rational. what is scientific and non-scientific.

If you take an absolute, unadulterated rational and scientif view of the world then there is no rationality for God, angels, messengers, prophets etc.

JS will say that "All sort of non-scientific beliefs and concepts are gradually being exposed and facing a stage of rejection due to information blast." as he is self confessed athiest.

Not everything in this world and universe can be described by ration or science.

I am not suppoerting these phony psychics or faith healers. There are many things in this universe which are unexplained and we as human being still discovering. Even scientist acknoledge something called dark matter although they dont know the nature of it.

The othet point is that as muslims it is our firm belief that cure (shafaa) comes from allah swt. It is not in the medicine or in the hand of the doctors. So it (the cure) can come through alupathic, herbal medicine,homeopathic, or even through someone's dua.

The danger of being very rational and scietific is that man thinks he is every thing and completely ignores and forget that there is also something very powerful and all knowing called Allah swt.

Human brain has control over the body processes, power of suggestion or even placebos can have some effect.It does not mean psychics have some powers to heal people.
