Human have the tendancy to die for some cause.WE are the actual beneficiary cuz when we die for our own brothers, die in accident, die in the floods, die in the fire etc.we get status of SHAHEED in both here and after life.
When we die in the battlefield against opressors than that death has no comparison at all here and afterlife,in terms of reward......
Japanese people no doubt giving sacrifices to save the rest of their nation...but their reward ends here, praising in bbc,cnn,blogs,etc..or may be some financial reward...thats the end and no reward after that.....

I can claim that we muslim nation are far un-matched in terms of sacrifices for our nations every where....no problem if evil calling us terrorists...we are doing our job...

LETS APPRCTE JAPANESE PEOPLE OPENHEARTED AND GIVE THEM SOME REWARD HERE IN THIS WORLD.....WELL DONE .....

Why so little looting in Japan? It's not just about honesty.

Islam has great potential in Japan. One scholar just came back and said some of their characterstics match real Muslims. They do not waste anything and eat the last remaning morsel from their plates. Compare this to our life style that waste lot of food. They respect the elders. There was nota single incident of looting. Compare this with America when the whole shopping centers were looted bare after a power outage in New York.

  9. AR, what brings us closest to the Japanese are three in number: their sense of honour, their loyalty to the cause and their unhesitating acceptance of the concept of sacrifice for the greater good. But how many real Muslims do you know, AR? I've sadly come to the conclusion that these can be counted on the fingers of one and a half hands. And never mind the statistics which prove we are the biggest human group on the earth today.

Furthermore, please to take note. I'm hearing from my Japanese blogger friends their hardening conclusion that the Japanese earthquake was man-made. In the latest chapter in the currency wars between the two countries, US submarines placed hydrogen bombs under the seabed close to the coast where the disaster did occur and in other parts of Japan as well. Do give the matter some thought all of you here. There is even a suspicion that US is trying to activate dormant volcanoes again.

Japan lays power cable in race to stop radiation

Nearly 300 engineers were working inside a 20-kilometre evacuation zone to attach power lines to two of the six reactors in order to restart water pumps and cool overheated nuclear fuel rods.

"Once we have an electric power supply, we will go slowly and carefully through the plant checking the various machines to see what is working and to also avoid short-circuiting them," a nuclear safety agency official said in the latest of round-the-clock briefings.

If those tactics fail, the option of last resort may be to bury the sprawling 40-year-old plant in sand and concrete to prevent a catastrophic radiation release.

That method was used to seal huge leakages from the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.

Some of the plant's power distribution boards are covered with water from the tsunami caused by last Friday's magnitude 9 earthquake, and TEPCO will use makeshift replacement equipment. Even with electricity restored, it is unlikely devices will be reactivated at least until Saturday, because equipment needs to be checked.

The cores of the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 reactors are believed to have partially melted and radiation leaks are continuing from the reactors and spent fuel pools, the nuclear agency said.
