    Jewish president of Religious Freedom Foundation wants an Islamophobic Christian Taliban away from USA-armed-forces event

    DENVER – A watchdog group objected Tuesday to an evangelist's invitation to speak at the Pentagon next month, saying his past description of Islam as "evil" offended Muslims who work for the Department of Defense and the appearance should be canceled.

    Franklin Graham has previously said, “[Islam] is a very evil and wicked religion. .... I believe it is my responsibility to speak out against the terrible deeds that are committed as a result of Islamic teaching."

    Actually, come to think of it, there are enough people in Pakistan who, toning down the rhetoric somewhat, would also be capable of saying something along these lines. Specially as regards the part: "the terrible deeds that are committed as a result of Islamic teaching."

    I quite agree with Mirza Ghalib. Picking up foreign quotes and deriving conclusion upon it that suits one's liking is not a healthy trend and not closer to reality. Ground reality is Western forces are sitting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Nobody talks how to get strong enough that those aliens dare not step their dirty feet on any muslim country.

    Hear! Hear! And Iran and Syria and Lebanon are in their sights, too. But I doubt they'll be able to attack any of them. But you're right. This should be a matter of grave concern to us all. Also we should be giving more thought to getting the aliens infiltrating our country out in the shortest time possible.
