    Bhaijaan, hum tu aapkay "Quaid" kay bhee roohani peshwa hain aur APMSO kay zamanay say hain...bus kiya hai na kay Musharaf ka baghal bacha bunnay par aur Zardari kay kalay kartootoon ka saath denay par kuch durriaan paida ho gain hain.

    Rah giya mera Quaid, tu mein is ka siyasi supporter tu bohat saloon say hoon.

    Yeah, been there once....nothing out of the ordinary but the location is pretty decent, ample space, a shopping arcade and restaurants on a board walk...most charming aspect of the place though is that its for families only and hence typical Karachi MAILAS are strictly not allowed.

    Freshmen and Sophmore years at George Mason in D.C. and Junior and Senior years out of UGA in Athens, GA.

    @Ayena,

    BA with a major in Poli Sci and a couple of years in Law School....too bad I couldn't complete the degree :(

    Should have completed the law degree, have couple of class mates from college who completed their Barrister at law degree from UK and return to Pakistan. Now purely minting money....

    @ExPakistani ...no worries i will be visiting Karachi in last of December , so will update u guys regarding the stuff available in port grand....jaweed, sabri,zahid ki nihri ,student ki biryani etc.
    waisay aaab student ki biryani third class hoo chukki hai...

    They don't have a whole lot of eatries there as yet. The one's they have are: S. Abdul Ghaffar Kabab House (Off the hook!!) and the usual crap like OPTP, Mr. Burger, KFC and some other generic food outlets. To be quiet honest, the food there is not at all appealing except for the Kabab House as it makes everything on site. All the rest have little huts where prepared food is delivered at specific intervals of the day.

    The best alternative is to visit Port Grand after having a great meal somewhere else and spend a couple of hours on the board walk.

    Yeah agree on student biryani, has really gone to the d0gs now but their signature and original outlet at Saddar still retains its mojo.

    In last Dec, bought biryani from franchise of Student in Nazimabad, I had better biryani in a funeral...

    I am kind of Deobandi... had some really good biryani on CHALISWAN..... thats why i dont oppose Berlvies
    ( :

    There is a place near PharGanj, North Nazimabad near shipowners college ..... Best Karahi, try that...I bet you gona like it.

    ( Just dont worry if its Bakrey ke karahi or Gadhey ke....its kind of those small places).

    Take M.T. Khan Road and turn left going towards Beach Luxury Hotel and follow the signs. You'll never miss it.
