Kissinger-Boy Smackdown; Three Cheers for Ex-Servicemen

(4 posts)
  1. And a special cheer for Brig(R) Samson Simon Sharaf.
US scholar snubbed over India's 'larger role' in Afghanistan

Prof Mead was of the view that cooperation between US and Pakistan was impeded due to conflict between the global world view of the US against the South Asian fixation of Pakistan.

“USA wished to promote India as the major stabiliser in the Asian region including East Africa, but Pakistan was making this difficult due to its enmity with India,” he said. However, participants of the meeting conveyed to Walter Russell that in case the US was unwilling to arbitrate conflicts with India, how could it expect Pakistan to allow India unbridled power in the region.

“There could be no compromise with India unless all disputes were settled and either the US should wait for this to happen or hasten it to happen” said the President of Ex-servicemen Society.

However, Prof Meads was adamant that a strong India was needed to stabilise Asia, Afghanistan and could also act as a balancing force against China.

During the meeting, Meads said that Pakistan was in no position to compete with India due to its deteriorating socio-economic conditions. However, Brig (R) Simon snubbed the US dignitary and reminded him that like the US, Pakistan had a very productive and competitive domestic economy that had been deliberately manipulated to that condition. Given stability and good leadership, Pakistan could jump-start within two years and show rapid growth successfully as visible during intermittent years of development, he said....

It appeared that Dr Mead had come to Pakistan with many pre-suppositions and his meetings with Pakistanis, were arranged to project a certain view. The meeting with ex-servicemen brought out a realistic view and diversity that may help in understanding Pakistan’s policy.

Let me repeat here the following bit Simon's words:

Pakistan had a very productive and competitive domestic economy that had been DELIBERATELY MANIPULATED to that condition.

Do you agree? If yes, who are the collaborators in this? What should be their punishment??

  2. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

Of-course all the people who toe foreign agenda within Pakistan are the ones who 'collaborate'.

    ALL of them should be;

    (1) charged with their crimes
    (2) tried in the court of law
    (3) convicted for their crimes, and subsequently
    (4) HANGED! in OPEN! PUBLIC!

Make! an example! out of ALL! of them.

  3. How about hanging all of us, one by one, me to start off with? What have we ever done of value for our country, I wonder. As far as I am concerned, nothing. Perhaps others have a better record to show in this respect.

N.B. No court of law needed either. They'd probably let us all get off scot-free in spite of our multiple crimes.

Our country is very potential to attract foreign interests for mutual benefits. The problem lies with our rulers who sell out our potential at very cheap and throw away prices. resulting into heavy deficits to our nation.
