:it was founded by Quiad e Azam"....thats just a propaganda of TV Channels .

  7. He knows that he is enjoying fake power and that puts him under lot of pressure and only due to this he tries to show off his love for all Bhuttos. This is why our president was walking in UN with benazirs photo holding in his hands

comeon, stop propogating all these petty scandals. What a non-sense accusation is that and how we are all blowing it out of propotion. This is a typical example of the kidns of scandals the party of raper and Zia baqiaat like to raise.

emergency rule and PCO has been declared unconstitutional. What happens to Chaudhry Iftikhar now?

Chaudhry Iftikhar shamelessly took oath from Musharraf.

    easy easy my dear easy.

The oath taken by Ch. Iftikhar was legalised by the parliament so no question about that. 3rd November, NRO are yet to get a legal status through parliament untill that every illegal matter will be taken by the judiciary.

About misreporting his expenses, i believe he is an angel, because Musharraf used all his machinary, his ISI, FIA etc to prove him guilty but all of them were not able to find anything about him. He was only accused and nothing was proved even he never hide under shameful NRO.

What about your peer zardari, he is also accused, and he is proven guilty in swiss money laundring, but you call him clean and you accuse Ch. Iftikhar, what a double standard my dear? I always say that you loyality to your party should not go beyond your loyality to your country.

misalligned, the charges against Ch Iftikhar were'nt even considered by the court. The court dismissed the case on technical reasons without giving any thought or considering the allegations.

Ok let's highlight...where Zardari/Gillani led PPP government has gone wrong so far?

    1. Forming Coalition Government with all parties including PMLN and MQM? - Wise decision for me.

    2. Deciding to make Gillani PM and him becoming a President? - Not so wise decision.

    3. Judicial Crisis - After damaging PPP's popularity insanely after being the front runners of Judicial movement? - Terrible decision and first but recovered in the last moments.

    4. Signing off deal with Sufi and Mullah FM through Parliament? - Wise decision helped to expose the real motives of Zaliman and eventually changed the public perception.

    5. Sawat Military Operation? - Wise and Must decision. Preliminary results achieved Successfully. You can note the decrease in the frequency of Suicide bombings lately.

    6. Bombay Attack crisis? - Handled ok!

    7. Energy Crisis? - Still Struggling!

    8. Balochistan initiative? - Very good steps taken already and now we can hope that Balochistan can be rescued. Eg., a. release of political prisoners like Akhtar mengal etc, b. withdrawing politically motivated cases of Hairbiyar marri and Bugtis,
    c. releasing 600 missing persons held by pak agencies,
    d. handing over Gawadar port administration frm Singapore to provincial government
    e. 50 billoin Rs package and waiving off debts.

    9. Stabilising economy? - So far ok performance considering the overall law and order situation of country. Indicators are no wheat and sugar crisis, rising Stock markets, increase in FE reserves, Rupee stabilised.

Aint they more important issues then discussing "Portrait" of Quaid-e-Azam?

    Fahim, very well written post.

However, power crisis is not handled OK at all. Yes, they inherited this problem but the government have not come up with a plan. There is no road map or a plan presented by the government to resolve the issue. They keep on giving deadlines but that is not enough. I have a felling that they dont have a plan to present. They are running around with no plan whatsoever.
SImilarly, no plan for economy either. They have been focusing on aid, which could be fine but other than that, there is no plan whatsoever. Yes law and order situation is very bad and you cant expect any forign investments but have this government put forward any alternative plan, such as giving incentives to farmers or small business owners etc? Again, they seem directionless and clueless.
