    Loadshedding: PML-N to protest outside Presidency

    ISLAMABAD: PML-N parliamentarians have decided to protest outside the Presidency against loadshedding, Geo News reported.

    According to sources the decision was made during a meeting of the PML-N Central Working Committee (CWC). The meeting also decided that PML-N MNAs would also voice their concerns on national issues during the National Assembly session.

    Is it really loadshedding which is causing problems in Raiwind or is it because the lections are coming and all of a sudden the friendly opposition has mad a nother U-turn?

    PML will ONCE again try to fool people by behaving like "genuine" opposition, but this time people will NOT be fooled. PML-N is corrupt to the core and badly exposed!

    People are protesting against loadshedding in different parts of the country and hence the opportunists did wake up. Do they want to help people or do they only want to act like a "genuine" opposition?

    I believe it is the usual dramey baazi from the Butt brethren, and so does most Pakistanis, inshallah!

    With all due respect bro, lets get something very straight here shall we...you don't tell me what is it I would like to comment upon...the last time I checked, you were neither a mod nor an admin of this site.

    If people are protesting against loadshedding all over the country, where does Khadim-e-GHQ stand on the issue...why hasn't he uttered a single word on this matter?...when is he launching an agitation in this regard?

    Why they are protesting outside Presidency is beyond me, the responsibility for load shedding rests with the government or Prime Minister and not the President.

    @aftab,

    You seriously think that a dumb knuckle head like Gilani would let anything rest on him?

    "the last time I checked, you were neither a mod nor an admin of this site."

    Nope, but is it problem for you to stay on topic. Otherwise we end up in a mess.

    "You seriously think that a dumb knuckle head like Gilani would let anything rest on him?"

    According to your statement; then you should be protesting in front of the GHQ since they ensured NRO for this government. Dare you?

    <<<According to your statement; then you should be protesting in front of the GHQ since they ensured NRO for this government. Dare you?>>>

    Wrong premise son, this is an administrative issue which has to be taken up with the government. The men in khakis are thoroughly discredited any ways....

    No, it's not a wrong premise. If you insist on demonstrating in front of NS brothers house then it is in vain. He was installed by the GHQ and you ought to protest in front of GHQ! Otherwise you people will stay as paper tigers :)

    Running around in circles are we? And I have yet to hear as to what the "Great Leader" of the people has done anything or uttered a single word in this regard. I guess an SMS, or an e-mail, or a facsimile has not been sent to PTI's secretariat from the office of COAS or DG ISI ;) as yet.

    Just wait and see. Imran will put every institution in it's rightful place. We have a big mess. There will be urgent issues to be settled and long term issue to be settled. You will see that the GHQ will also have their "nath". They will NOT be allowed to dictate the civilian rulers. Just wait and see!

    @scandinavian,

    Not good enough buddy, you have gotta come up with something more viable than that.....you should have put a big IF before you started that address. Question is, what is he going to do right now as we speak, not a year from now or 10 years from now.

    Off course it's an "IF". He is no army man who can grab power. He is a hard core democrat and will only rely on people of Pakistan. It's up them to elect him or anybody else.

    So you'd be pretty much OK if the people of Pakistan don't elect him then? And you would not resort to abusing the people at large for not giving him the vote of confidence?

    ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday directed the Ministry of Finance to immediately release the due amount of Pepco for payment to PSO to ensure full supply of fuel to the thermal power plants.

    Chairing a special emergency meeting of inter-ministerial committee to review the acute energy shortfall here at the PM House, Gilani directed the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources to ensure restoration of full supply of fuel to the power plants including Kapco and Hubco.

    The meeting reviewed the energy conservation measures and the prime minister directed the minister for water and power to take the provincial governments on board to finalise an operational strategy.

    The PM also directed the high powered committee headed by Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, and comprising Minister for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister for Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain, Dr Nadeemul Haq Deputy Chairman Planning Commission and Acting Governor State Bank of Pakistan to submit recommendations at the special cabinet meeting.

    This meeting would be convened soon to resolve unscheduled loadshedding in the country.

    I will accept that IF the elections are free and fair. Then it is the will of the people and even Zardaris brother=NS will be accepted. BUT I will never endorse the selection of corrupt people. I will always be on the opposite side of corrupt people, inshallah!

    I guess we will have no choice, however I would like military takeover. When the result is announced and either Mr 10% or N$, has won, then as a present I would like military takeover.

    @ siddiqi73

    It's too late now for crying over spilt milk, he was voted in by most parties including PML-N. By going to Zardari, PML-N want political mileage from this situation, but in reality they are weakening the office of the PM, which BTW will only bite back, if tomorrow they find themselves in the same boat.

    @saladin89,

    Military takeover will pave way for Raja Imran Inder Singh to become a dummy PM....ain't it? Rest assured, that isn't happening.
