13 people lost their lives today in malir and landhi.
Most media outlets reported that it was a fight between two rival groups.It is beleieved that it was an clash between haqiqi and MQM-altaf.Altafs men lost 5 lives in malir and they retaliated and killed few haqiqi men in landhi.
Khokhrapar in malir was a previous stronghold of haqiqi group before they went underground during musharraf rule

At least 13 people were killed and 15 others wounded in a fresh wave of violence in Karachi, officials said Friday.An exchange of fire between two groups in Malir triggered panic in several areas of the city.
The tension that started early in the morning in Khokhrapar Colony spread fear among the residents, causing shops to shut and leaving commuters hopeless.
The dead and the injured were shifted to Sindh government hospital and Jinnah hospital immediately.
“At least 11 people were killed and 15 others were wounded since last night,” home ministry official Sharafuddin Memon told AFP, but declined to comment whether they were ethnically-motivated killings.
Police official Saud Mirza said authorities were probing if political tensions fueled Friday’s killings.
Local police officials confirmed the death toll but did not give details.

It seems MQM want finish MQM H. This look alike clean up operation against Haqiqi. MQM will never accept other political parties in city.

MQM-H has to be back one time or the other. Afaq is unbending. What is Altaf expecting? He can keep Afaq in jail for ever?

H workers had associated themselves with Sunni tehreek and ANP. It gave them the political cover to work around and gave these parties some firepower.

Now they're flexing their muscle. Yesterdays events had the Aman committee firmly behind Haqiqi.

They're paying MQM back in the same coin of terror. Kamal can cry and whine and do so shamelessly for the party he represents has been a greater murderer and looter ever to have operated on the soil of Pakistan.

Zardaris is still playing cat's and dog with MQM.Its not Haqiqi.Its lyari gang and some ANP supprting Haqiqi to teach a hard lesson to MQM.fight of survival.Haqiqi is long ago is dead.just few hundred under ground or i in sunni tehrik.Previously Agencies and now Zardari and Zulfiqar mirza himself taking care of Haqiqi.
The famous speech was also a planned incident were MQM retelaited so quickly that PPP and ANP never expected and withdrew from further going.
PPP will not spare MQM at any cost. they want karachi like they have rest of ruler sindh.They are using ANP's anger.
As for MQM this is the first time they have to deal an enemy who speaks in their own language and fight in their own style.They are facing what their opponents faced for long.

And this time Governer Ebad will also be sidelined as his comeback is also not welcommed by zulfi the great.

The latest violence started after haqiqi group tryed to re-enter and re-control malir.It was reported some days back in the ummat daily that haqiqi workers and activists are returning to karachi on the orders of afaq ahmed because he was expecting his release from the jail.

Fight for control over Karachi, control over Balochistan, control over Pakhtoonkhawah and voices for separate Seraiki province etc are leading us to a very precarious situation.

Well I dont whole heartedly believe that it is a scheme of our enemies, yet even if our enemies are behind it, it seems that generally the public in these areas is supporting these events. I dont see anyone coming forward and finding a political solution to our issues.

Actually We forget East Pakistan Every Time.
A result of injustice and use of power.
We are in habit of not respecting the rights of the people and later opportunist comes out and uses public sentiments.
Why we don't respect the simple wishes of the people.
Can any one give me only one reason of merging Bahawalpur in Punjab.

@AK .. in Karachi .. there is nothing which is against State. it is a war between two rivals to get big share from state.. thats it.

It has nothing to do with the situation of East Pakistan.

how to accept wishes of those who want evey thing at gun point and making majority deprived and at risk and will them at the mercy of thoese criminal.

same the case of mqm THEY WANT BE wholy solly incharge of karachi where people breath when they wish.

time has come either deal these terrorist with guns or dialogue ,power should be balanced either by vote or gunda raaj because MQM in karachi have no sense to play politics but violation and killings are their habit qand way of politics so why and how long people wait fr them to learn the politics.

let allow ANP,PPP,Liari gang,MQM-H to take weapons against eachother then how mnay left will be demography of karachi.

at the moment MQM will not be accepted by all to hostage the city ,future planning on way to its destruction rute when ANP,MQM will get rid of eachother and nuetral forces will take benifit of it.

for your kind information bahawalpur is not going towards progress after sepearte province because who will lead the people, same land lords and fuedols,sardars,chowdries with no change of mentality but more stronger then before.they will do nothing but will be in more powewr to abuse the rights of people.
