I am wondering why Rashed Latif is not in run of such position....Aaqib Javed or Jeff Lawson are good options, we need qualified ( technically) and strong personality who can handle our begrey nawab and heros

I am all for making Rashid Latif, the best wicket keeper not only in Pakistan but probably in the cricketing world, the new coach of Pakistan cricket team...but I am afraid he is too honest and too patriotic to qualify as such.

he was decent enough batsman... avging 35 + scored 200 at lords ( i guess he is only Pakistani or may be he and M.Yousuf to achieved such thing) he scored two back to back 100s against Aussies in Australia in 80s... but he was not a technically sound batsman, specially in later part of his carrier he was just a walking wicket.

We really don't need a head coach for our National Team. Misbah is sensible enough to put strategies and tactics in place with the help of a decent Batting and Bowling consultant along with the rest of the support staff. What we really need is a high performance director of cricket for NCA to guide the new talent coming through the ranks.

When Aussies visited Sri lanka this year they had 11 supporting staff?
at least we can afford to have 3 cricket staff ( bat/ball/fielding coaches )
Make manager responsible to deal with in and out of team communication to avoid conflict between capt's and training staff.

I don't mind the Mohsin Khan being interim coach as much as i have a problem with a top 10 scumbag person in charge of selection committee. If the selection committee had any class they would all resign after seeing this garbage person.
Imran Farhat should be happiest and i hope he fails miserably against Sri Lanka.
this is 67th coach i think being appointed in last 5 years innit :s...
