Rather than saying who is biased or not, plz inculcate habit of reading/listening all of them and then analyse ur self whether they are saying right or wrong.

What we do, we polarize our mind pre hand and resultantly we never see writing on the wall despite being reality:)

You can't say that all the journalists are biased, as some of the friends above have mentioned. If this is the case then its better not to read newspaper and not to watch TV.
Off course there are some biased rather "greedy" journalist.
the best example is "Nazir Naji" and he is perfectly described by MR>GOOGLE.
Other few examples of biased Journalists include Abbas Ather, Mubasher Luqman, etc,....

Most biased journalist according to me is Abbas Athar, and the likes of him (nazir naji) follow in rank.

i think ,just because news media has grown its roots in public . now every party wants his anchor person to be planted in the most viewed channels .

now they are almost all biased in one way or the other .
so they can be only categorized by
most biased , obvious biased , cleverly biased , smartly biased ,stupidly biased etc .

For Example ;

smartly biased :
Talat Hussain is biased against PMLN and pro army ,but he smartly puts his opinion , the way ,it sounds neutral , but makes a viewer thinks the way TH is thinking .

stupidly biased :
Dr. Danish and Jasmeen Manzoor are biased stupidly biased against every one ,except the present Govt .
but they do favor Govt with a stupidest manner .

most tv anchors are just trying to get more attention than other tv anchors, it is new free media, they just competing to get more public attention, and government is always most easy and favorite target for these anchors to get more attention from public.
but there are few exceptions, Kamran Khan , Shahid masood, some other anchors have their personal agenda against ppp.

but in newspapers every party has their own peoples according to their apporach.

Accept or not ethanicity matters, ethanic based Parties have paid media persons.

only Talat hussain. Kamran Shahid, Javed choudry are very ethnicaly balanced journalists.

Once shahid Masood was one of my faverite, but due unwise jumping on chennels he lost his past credibilty.

One thing I noticed in all of them is that they are busy making themselves and their channels popular, they are least bother about finding truth. For example, few days back I was watching Dr. Shahid's program on ziaul Haq plan crash. When the program was reaching to its conclusion the time ended and people were left with more confusion. Moreover, the current discussions going on about democracy being a failed system or present rulers failed miserably to cope up with the problems of the people, no one is daring to have a conclusive debate of what to do and how to do? In short, people are left with questions and questions alone but with no solution, which is dangerous!!!!

Faisal Qureshi is not dumb,

what he tries to do is raise human rights issues and raise awareness of our responsiblities as human beings.

he tries to show how we act as animals rather than humans which is why Pakistan is in such a state.

he talks about changing our own habits and standing up for what is right rather than keep demanding change and doing lipservice forever.

he believes in a societal social change first before a political change.

actually in a society where most of the people are illiterate or ignorant of current affairs and the background stories of happenings ....TV journalist's role becomes very crucial ...they became 'Opinion Leaders'.
average Pakistani , who does not have any perspective of political happenings and he has no opinion about things .
can be influenced by these anchors and can have ,what they call in Mass Media terminology ; 'a Borrowed Opinion'.

for that matter ,they are speaking of the lingu of Hamid Mir ,Talat Hussain or Kashif Abbasi .

they believe in them and support them as their opinion leaders .

so opinion leaders need to be responsible enough to take this burden gracefully .
by not playing with the power ,they have in the form of public following ....
