MQM-party of midle class ... Some recommendations

MQM has what most of parties dream in Pakistan, but slowly MQM is moving away from its real cause. would like to see
if you guys can put some suggestion to improve party

What MQM has:
-Strong support in karachi from middle class
-Educated workers at university and college level
-Organization skill, they can bring 1000s of people on road on short notice
-Strong Khedmat-e-khalq foundation
-Media management skill bad or good thing but they can utilize to prompt their agend
- Strong party system, where Unit sector and Zonal in charges have more power then any MPA or MNA.
-Party without family politics, hardly any MNA or MPA has son or daughter sitting next to him/her in Assemblies
-Personal or family level corruption... they dont do for personal level do it for party .. thats why Farooq sattar still living with his family in PIB colony.

What they need to do

- Get rid of Gangs within MQM, they belongs to nobody they just bring shame to party and Karachi.

- Time to say God bye to Altaf Hussain as QUaid-e-Threek.

- Bring people like Rizvi, Faisal Sabzwari and Farooq sattar at top most level leadership

- Bring people of other languages ( Sindhi balochies punjabies and saraikies etc ) to leadership level.

Fully endorse your suggestions to MQM Expakistani bahi. I would have probably supported MQM if it wasn't for their violent politics or crazy leader. They need to promote some one sane up the order as soon as they can.

@expakistani........I fully agree to what you have suggested, and in my opinion it will be a great loss for the people of Karachi and Pakistan to see MQM disbanded and barred from Pak politics....I will love to see following changes brought to MQM by people and not by any outside forces or inside establishment:

1. First and foremost MQM must do away with criminal elements in its fold.

2. Lead the movement of deweaponization of Pakistan, starting with Karachi. MQM can set good example for others to follow by surrendering all illegal weapons held by its party workers/leaders.

3. Set up a transparent system whereby funds for party are collected fully in public knowledge. It is very important that what party spends is within the mean of its legitimate earning or donation (donation here means the funds are raised via corner meetings, seminars etc out in public and not thru PERCHI or other notorious ways)

4. Leadership should be within the confine of Pakistan, no dual nationality holder be allowed to hold any public post. Election within MQM every four years will set a good example, and force other parties to adopt.

5. Assests and properties of its top leadership are yearly published for public view.

6. Intimidation of media,judiciary and rivals should not be a policy. Tolerance & co-existence should be promoted.

7. Make transparent and sincere efforts in supporting Sindhi culture, and encourage its followers & sympathizers to learn Sindhi language. Once MQM starts this it will encourage others to follow suit. Needless to say MQM will also be benefitted greatly as it will win the hearts & mind of Sindhi masses.

8. Whoever has made money illegally and beyond known means (Babar Ghouri, Wasim Akhtar,Rauf Siddiqui, come immediately to mind) should be sidelined and asked to reveal the source of income.

These are some of the most intangible recommendations! MQM is a party of thugs, terrorists, traitors and extortionists. Their leaders including Rizvi, Sabzwari and Sattar belong in a slammer.

Roznama Ummat Karachi seems to have lopsided version....if things were so bad in London for Altaf, he would have left UK by now....

he can be blamed for many things but certainly stupidity is not one of those attributions.....

So whats the real story then? God only knows!!!

Altaf has gone nuts. People know that I support MQM but this is getting too far. Either party should say him good bye or get ready to receive bye-byes from the people.

Roznama Ummat is a propaganda newspaper and this news is probably false.

UK authorities will not investigate Altaf since they know exactly what he is upto and probably with their consent.

Well dear this is a good post from you. Reforms within MQM are good for everyone. Mohajirs are our brothers and a very important useful part of Pakistani nation. They should denounce terrorism and live happily and let other live as well.

Good Suggestions... but will MQM Exist after Altaf?
Unlikely!
If Altaf is eliminated, ,MQM will finish.
And So will ANP specially in Karachi as they got support from Pashtuns just because of MQM's bhatta khori, sectarian violence , Target killings etc.... ANP has not done anything for Pashtuns per sae except when they united pashtuns in karachi against MQM's state terrorism.

As regards to an alternate leadership.... haider abbass rizvi has been nominated by Ajmal Pahari for directing the target killing along with Muhammad Anwer from london office. Sabzwari is another criminal along with Sihrat ulabad and Mustafa kamal.

Dr. Farooq Sattar is although a person which most of karachites will agree that he has not been involved directly in any killing etc...

I think they need to change the name of the party to some karachi party? That way, it won't be linked to one particular ethnic group. I prefer that we have city based politics and people start thinking of their cities together

Small parties are going to be introduced to participate the Karachi politics. Including ppp,JI,PML-N, F, Q, MQM (H), KPP (Karachi peoples party)

Conclusion MQM propaganda to own the city and separate province slogan will be weakened.

Note MQM-A will be named KPP (Karachi peoples party)

It will be like playing with fire if authorities are to attempt to cut to size or destroy MQM, THE PARTY....

Rather than targetting the party authorities should try to nab and punish criminals in MQM and all other parties for that matter.....

Discriminatory police/rangers action will only stir sympathy for MQM and the criminals in its fold will again have a chance to hide behind that sympathy wave.....not a good idea!!!

after a long time someone has criticized MQM in a respectful manner. i can feel the honesty in your opinion. i hope people can use such decent language instead of praying for death of Altaf Bhai and calling him "kalia" all the time.

i would like to say that it is very difficult for MQM to get rid of Altaf Hussain. this is because his respect is too much within this party. without Altaf Bhai's commitment, MQM would have finished a lot time ago.... the respect Altaf Bhai gets for putting MQM on the map is extremely huge as he is seen as one who caused a minirevolution in political set up by MQMers. at one point, if Altaf bhai would have backed off, everyone would have backed off, but he just kept going despite all the sacrifice.

It is a government conspiracy since 90s to kill all our top leadership including Azeem Ahmad Tariq and Imran Farooq. As they were our backups in this time of despair. they killed them one by one and now the establisment is asking us to loose the support of our leader. It is nothing but they trying very hard to break us.
