I am not going to give up this cause, and I know that many other will not either! It is not ONLY about getting rid of MQM's armed wing. It is about every armed gang - be it MQM, other political mafia gangs or mullah groups. Each and every one of them MUST be disarmed so any citizen is not intimidated by these goons!

My priority would be to get rid of arms all over Pakistan, and if I was to decide I would start in the biggest city first i.e. right from KHI and then move on to smaller cities, then smaller towns/rural areas and lastly NWFP.

I know that is not going to happen over night and will be carried out in many steps, but we have to start somewhere=KHI!

So my best advise to you is to start with ISI first. This criminal organization arms group such as Taliban, LeT, Haqiqi etc. I personally witnessed them bringing arms via NLC trucks into Karachi for Haqiqi takeover of Karachi. Charity starts at home, go for the root cause. Even ISI was behind the massacre of Aligarh and Qasba Colony in 80's. Any comments now or you will be quiet for 'some reasons'.

I am not for any kind of violence against any specific groups including the "muhajir" community. I condemn all atrocities - also those committed against your group and also the atrocities on 12. th may.

"Muhajirs" are as much Pakistanis as I am and they have every right for protection from ghunda ghardi. It is the duty of the state to protect its citizens.

Mark my words...one day the disarmament will start (inshallah) and it will be better to be cooperative otherwise it will turn violent with many precious lives lost! I hope we can avoid that!

This is typical mindset that halved Pakistan in 1971. When N$ started brutual military operation against MQM, MQM was part of government?? Latter on N$ appologised for the operation and put blame on Pak army.Wonder where do you get your facts to form opinion?
what most of the people from Punjab get something entirely wrong is that if people of KHI being controlled by MQM and opponents dont survive. the fact is anybody, anywhere stand up and dont hesitate critising MQM and still survive too.
You can disagree with policies, you may dislike acts, but hating humenbeing bring down your stature as "Ashraful makhlooqat.

First Mr.Karim, mind your language or you want me to give you a breakneck answer. Second, there is no one in Pakistan at least in the Army side is patriotic. Yeh sub kiray kay tatoo hain, jis din kiraya band us din dukaan bhi band hogi. Haven't we seen enough for how GHQ is controlling the budget that now accounts for over 30% of the total. Army that we considered 'sacred' institution has an offspring called ISI that controls the 'interests' of generals who do not like their financial resources depleted. They (ISI) are used for brokering political deals for not national but for their (Army) own benefits. They also controls these lashkars and Haqiqis as bargain chips and to add foreign market yes markets to their territories. They are involved in killing of thousands of Pakistanis and retaining a large number in detention camps for their own benefits. So next time you come with your 'patriotic agenda' look around if your opinion can hold water. It is not 90s so I won't buy that ISPR crap, they can shove it where it belongs. Capish!

@Siddiqi, God bless you. Lets come to the point. If Karachi is generating 70% or few% lesser than that, how does it matter. The point was that these 25 seats are capable to make or break the government.
*Its good that you are aware of military operations carried out since 92 against MQM. Both N$ and BB took active part in it. Still MQM is working with PPP, what is the choice MQM have, struggle for separate state??

Thanks for confirming my doubts about that letter altaf wrote to tony blair about the ISI? I had my doubts when ZM claimed in his press conference but now i'm 100% sure.

But then why this double-faced attitude?

Why you guys deny that letter on the media? and why cant you say it openly on the media so that whole public can hear your truth? and why do you really have to hide behind a website to say it? aren't you guys a bunch of cowards??

BTW, since you know so much about ISI, can you also tell us that is it also ISI that sends LANGRAS, KANAS and PAHARIS to india for trianing and financing the bloodshed and mayhem in Karachi?

PPP, MQM agree on interim administrative system for Sindh
KARACHI: An interim plan to run the administrative system of Sindh province has been chalked out, Geo News reported.

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have agreed on the interim plan.

According to sources, Commissioners and District Coordination Officers (DCOs) would run the administrative system in Sindh like that of Punjab province.

A commissioner would be appointed in Karachi while DCOs would work in all the five districts of the metropolis.

In the same way, commissioner would be appointed in Hyderabad division while DCOs would be there in the four districts of Hyderabad.

Chief Secretary would issue notification for administrative system in Sindh province at 12 midnight, the sources said.
