  2. "MQM is fighting the system ,while enjoying the personal benefits of system ..."

    Correctamundo.

MQM will not call it quits and driven to isolation from the govt. What is being suggested on this thread is political fallacy of the type when two kids fight one heads home with his bat. In politics there is always dialog no matter how bad the relations are. Imran Khan can stay out because he knows, whether he's in or out, won't make a damn difference. MQM has huge vote bank behind them in the largest city, how would their voters feel? When people suggest that MQM supports feudals (bigger parties), that is another dopy rhetoric, because all Pakistan has done the same including ANP, PML-N, PML-Q. MQM supports army, yeah so PML-N was brought up in army lap, PML-Q was their right hand, Zulfiqar Bhutto relied on army etc. So MQM's support of army gives more heart burn for reasons more emotional than poltical.

Now why some people want MQM to quit. Two reasons: when they quit the voters will feel betrayed so other parties would move to cash in. This is actually what people on the thread imply to see MQM fail by it's voters so that MQM's alleged reign over Karachi is over. Second is the valid argument that MQM has not lived up to the catchwords, averting feudal and landlord. This is MQM's wish but the ground reality is with 25 seats no can abolish feudalism. Why would feudals in NA vote against themselves, are they sincere like Nawabs of Kalabagh and Bhawalpur and Liaqat ALi Khan? Should MQM stop echoing their ideal? much like we are strong venerators but actually hollow practitioners of Islam. MQM knows well from Bengali struggle, from Baloch rights movement, Kalabagh dam saga and own experience of Article 27 in 1999 (getting 2% quota for 10% population) that the composition of MNA and public of four provinces of Pakistan are not willing to give fair share to each other. Bengalis knew it, Balochis know it so both of these opted/opt for separation. These issues have not caused havoc for MQM people to take drastic measures because their voters have done much better in the pvt industry of Karachi than in lame govt jobs, however, as a matter of principle should get a fair share anway. So MQM keeps it's rhetoric down but don't think that it is gone out of their to-do list.

If MQM does quit, this will be politically very bad for the citizens of Karachi, but apparently MQM has not lost hope in believing in the political system of Pakistan. If MQM causes occasional disturbance, it is also a cause of stability, the local authorities and communities rely heavily on MQM.

The new theory coming out of MQM regarding leaving the coalition is,"Hamara hakumat mein rahnay ya na rahnay say koi farak nahee parta!!!" Koi farak agar nahee parta tu niklo aur hamari jaan choroo.

There aint no context. They are deliberately planting ambiguities so that they are not looked upon as having reached a point of no return.
