I think he should be held responsible for all the Doctors, Lawyers and Religious Ulemas killed under his regime. No investigation was ever done regarding the wiping out of the scholars and intellectuals in all the 3 fields and if i may add they all were peace loving Patriotic Pakistanis killed for no reason except Patriotism.

The issue already has been finalized.
Nothing could be done to arrest or try him in a court of Law in Pakistan.
This action could put the stability of Pakistan at risk.

Not the British Raj but the Judiciary of Pakistan twice declared and accepted him as the Constitutional Head of the State under the Law of Necessity.
Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto, two times Prime Ministers, could not arrest and try Gen. Zia-ul-Haq, who had committed the same crime.

why is it that whenever Musharraf is mentioned, "indian born" has to be mentioned. I see where the problem lands, he is indian born, thats the problem.

Anyways, i think its about time you change your thinking 62 years down the line because its the reason Pakistan never worked.

theres a limit to toleration even.

my dear, you may not think in a racsist way for which i respect you. but there has been enough of this **** flying around the internet of Musharraf being "indian born" munafiq traitor. same goes with mqm hindu naag ect.

I think this is not how Pakistanis should treated regardless of their action.

What is the point? Is being Muhajir a good thing or a bad thing? Do muhajirs deserve respect whatsoever? Looking at all this today, I feel regret for those who left their homes during partition who are still called Indian with hate. i've heard it countless times and trust me it does not feel good but leaves an identity crisis.

Screw those who call Musharram or whoever, Indian born, and make a case against him or whoever on the basis of whereever he was born. Those are jaahil and hopeless people and are probably lovers of Lahore Badshah.

New Sindhis are as much Pakistanis as anyone else.
However, I dont like the term "mohajir". You can call yourself a mohajir if you like but in my opinion, new Sindhi is a better term but it is really up to you.

Again, those who call anyone Indian born must be taken to court and penalized for spreading hate.

To unite all we need a leader who could bring all nationalities (baluchi, sindhi, pashtoon, punjabi etc) together under the flag of Islam just like it was done in 40s, not too long ago.

Any other slogan/call will fail to unite all nationalities.

I am asked "are you Indian?" almost 99 out of 100. thats why i was raising this issue.

i look visibly Indian.

i am patriotic, perhaps not blindly patriotic but Pakistan is somewhere deep inside me.

You guys are too senstive. Just cuz someone criticizes Altaf or Musharraf doesn't mean they are abusing the whole race. They are public figures, so naturally they'll face crticism, abuse, etc. Don't take it too personal!

My family migrated from UP but settled in Punjab, so I technically belong to the same urdu speaking community but that means nothing to me. I'm a Muslim first and then Pakistani. Nothing else can offend me, so chill you all!

No msoahil, you are missing the point. They call musharraf "Indian born". They are saying Musharraf nee joo kuch kiaa woh iss liyay kiaa kionkay woh wik Indian born hai.

I am not against criticism on Musharraf, I have problems with him geting criticised on where he was born. This is my problem.

I hope you understood the actual message that was intended. I don't mind using word ethnicities, we can also add mohajirs in ethnic group too. That is why I appended etc to show that those were examples of few, not all!

Better to stay focused on subject and give benefit of out on my weak vocabulary.

At the moment each ethnicity is holding their interest supreme which needs to be changed with ideological interest which is common in all.

In 40s that ideological bond brought all ethnicities together in form of Pakistan, but now many ethnicities have sever grievances that need urgent attention.

JJ bhai yaar i m getting the concept but what i m trying to stress is that there are Pakistan Haters amongst us in Pakistan who will never let us unite cos they use these Nationalities as an idea.

Since we hear that type of slogan most of the time we get used to saying it and once we start saying it we will start believing in it and then working for it.

All i m trying to do is that Lets remove these barriers and unite under one Pakistan Flag and forget about the rest of the haters and dividers.

See we showed a united front on the forum and avoided all Religious threads and look how much the discussion has stopped from the Indians. They arent posting anything cos they dont have anything positive to say about Pakistan. They only came to extend their islam hating views to us and since they cant its peace.
