on this seat there will be good competetion beween pmlq NOOR SHAH and ppp QAMAR KAIRA.
kaira is more popular and is gujar too,
but ch wajahat is requesing people for noor shah success . that is why there are 50-50 chances for both parties.

Javed, can u plz confirm if noor shah is contesting or his brother?

what about ch tajammal hussain issue.
i heard there are some diffference of tajammal family with shujat family an that is why they objected on nomination papaers of ch mubashar hussain ( son of ch tajammal?).

i think if this situation is there, then kaira will have a smooth sailing.
dont forget they cud not b beaten in local elections of 2005 even when ch shujaat put all his resources against kaira.

Noor Shah is contesting himself not his brother.Ch Wajahat Hussain is trying very hard for noor shah,but inshallah Qamar Zaman Kaira will win the seat only because of their good work and the general hatred of people in this constituency for the chaudharies of gujrat.
And The Gujjar factor goes in big favor of Kairas and now that Kolian Family is also supporting the Kairas it will inshallah help them alot.PPP will win the NA SEAT plus the PP seat in lalamusa and PML N will take the PP seat of Dinga and suburbs.

rahman naseer is in big trouble, awan of pmln may win this seat but good war here
yes ch mubashar was trying to run from here
pp113 is definaely a pmlQ seat.
mian tariq is very popular person.

i always thought that gujrat was a PML-N stronghold. ANd that PML-N candidate would be as strong, if not stronger, as the PML-Q candidate. SO how come PPP have a chance of winning from here?

Gujrat has never been a PML N stronghold.Yes Sarai Alamgir does have a votebank for Shareef Brothers.But thats about it.Lets face it Gujrat is at the moment PML Q stronghold barring NA 106 where Kairas and Peoples Party are doing good work.And yeas PPP have very good chance of winning this seat,Rehman Naseer is in trouble because of the new alliance between Hanif Awan of PML N and THE KOTLA group which actually helped him get the seat.So it will be very interesting to see what goes on and i can assure you if the elections are fair PPP will win NA 106 and PML N will take the PP113.BUT THEN.........

on 107 ppp has edge.but not easy sailing.
mian tariq on pp113 and liqat bhaddar on pp112 are strong cadidates.so noor shah will compete.
on pp113 maria(mian tariq,s daughter ) has tough competition with ch.jafer iqbal of ffatta (pmln).i think kolian wale are supporting ch.jafer iqbal this time.

mian tariq is himself running on pp113.
his daughter won by 10000 lead from jafar ch.2002 elections
so he will win too,but ppp ,s kaira will win from na 106

In 2008 elections, Qamar Zaman Kaira seems to be in an invincible position. His background and personal popularity seem to be helping him a lot.

Qamar Zaman is honestly the more suitable of two.for 2 reasons one he being somebody who the halqa people can relate to because of their grass root works and secondly peoples party should win coz pakistan desperately needs now a party which represents federation unity and honestly i think ppls party is the party which can uphold the federation and if nawaz sharif and ppls party can form a coalition government atleast it will be something which can help them with that cause.ppls party being the more popular party of the country and nawaz shareef being the more popular politician in the country now that BB is no longer with us.we need this coalition so the true democracy which may not be the best option but in my personal opinion we dont have any other option but to unite Pakistan in these times of crisis.MAY ALLAH BLESS OUR BELOVED COUNTRY

Kaira is little bit in trouble at the moment. Ch. wajahat is compaining in this area.so a tough fight is expected between the old rivals.may be qaira will sneak the victory but fight is there.

I wonder how Ch. wajahat is campaigning in this constituency when he himself is in a lot of trouble in his own constituency. Kaira is the overwhelming favourite here.
