Last Time Omer Ayub Khan won because of Faisal Zaman. Omer Ayub Got MNA seat in 2002 as a bonus, even he havn't done so much.
But even having seat in National Assembly & capturing high post in last cabinat, he had never done so much for the area, esp Ghazi ares, his Gas program was pending for last 5 years. What i expect, is the candidate from PML-N has an edge over Omer Ayub Khan because of strong support of Peer Sabir Shah.
I am v.Sorry for Omer Ayub, but people are not expecting too much from Omer Ayub.

Please correct if I am wrong.
Omar Ayub Khan lost the election last time in 2002 by 2000 votes, this was even announced on Tv. But latter he was declared winner by the same margin. It appears that around 4000 votes were added, I guess by some FARISHTAS.My record shows the same but since I am not from this constituency, voters from this area must be in better position to tell the whole truth.

PML(Q) = 81496 votesSo two PMLs combined got 1,42,855 votes, unbelievable, this shows how far Agencies can go to rig an election. Beware of ISI on Feb-18, anything can happen.

It was a strabge coincidence that in all teh constituencies where q-league won, teh voting percentage was much higher than in other constituencies. A tell tale sign of farishtas casting votes....

I belong to this constituency and was present in 2002 elections. Pir Sabir shah was winning with a comfortable margin till midnight and these results were at Umer Ayub\'s Main office the difference was 20000 votes. we were sure that PML (N) will win and i went to watch the Elction transmission but in the morning when the result for NA 19 was announced Umer Ayub won by 20000 votes and also came to know that he got majority of votes from tehsil ghazi which is the home town of Pir Sabir shah, also most of the riggin take place in far flung villages which are mountains beside tarbella lake. This time although i am not there whatever discussion i have with my friends they say its a 3 way competition if rigging doesnt take place sher will win but fight is tough in the sense that you cannot ignore raja amir zaman who is the former district Nazim Haripur as well son of Influential raja sikander Zaman former chief minister NWFP and unfortunately Sardar Mushtaq the PML (N) candidate belongs to same tehsil or adjoining areas which is strong hold of Raja\'s but my last comment is that Haripur is a die hard area of Nawaz sharif and we love him we pray for the success him and restoration of judiciary.

Omer Ayub Khan just won the last Election because of Mr. Faisal Zaman from Tehsil Ghazi, he never has the ability to won the election, Please also note that the Ghazi is hometown of Mr. Faisal Zaman. I would also says that For the last 17 years befor the previous election Peer Sabir Shah was an MPA from this area but he didnt do anything for this area, I m well aware of it because i am from Ghazi and i participated every compained of Sabir Shah later on Faisal zaman. Thats why people minds get changed. You cant blame agencies. Lets see this time who will be the winner.

Incidentally, faisal zaman\'s candidacy for provincial assemble was rejected on the ground sof not being a graduate. But he has now been allwoed to contestby the peshawar high court (PCO one, not teh constitutional one), after he produced a graduate degree from .... hold your breath .. NIGERIA .. of all the places..
So while physically being in Pakistan, faisal zaman spiritually got a bachelors degree from NIGERIA. Knowing a thing or two about Nigeria, I wonder why he stopped at bachelors degree, he could have easily purchased... oops ... received ... a couple of doctorates from nigeria in a few hours !!!!

Long Live Pmln....
Sardar Mushtaq surely will win with remarkable margin. Omar Ayub, with all respects since he was my senior in Burnhall College, and a recent lotta and stigma on Hallians face, will be out of politics for ever..Posted 4 years ago on 31 Jan 2008 10:48 # -
if Faisal zaman paper were rejected on basis of Bacholer Degree, isn\'t it interesting that how his nomination paper was accepted in 2002 election! lolz at **** election!
Can any body tell me which party is in leading position in haripur! Sabir Shah (Nawaz group) or Faisal Zaman?
