Bitter truth is we are not ONE nation rather ethnic units living (unwantedly) under a Federation. We lost East Pakistan due to same problem and whenever I visit Pakistan I sense and notice growing sense of anti-federation/separatist feelings among ordinary Pakistanis especially in Quetta.
Except PPP, all political parties have restricted their activities and influence to local (provincial) ethnic audience only. This is a dangerous trend with serious future repercussions. Fallout of such negative voting trends may further dis-integrate our geographical boundaries.
All I can say, May God save Pakistan

I think Punjab has played a commendable role in recent NFC awards.
Alienation from Punjab is at historic low levels, with the exception of Balochistan where army operation is the cause of grief.

But even Punjab is not noon league fortress anymore. There is a new kid in the block PTI.
PTI that does not stand for a specific group of people or district, but for the whole of Pakistan!!!
We will unite mohajir, pathan, punjabi, and sindhi, from poor to rich, to chappa wala too doctor.

actually..reminds me of something.
IK is unpopular in urdu speaking due to his unjust behavior with Miandad and not to mention the ever-complaining Miandad.

@bsobaid
First I heard of this, concerning IK being unpopular with urdu speaking people, secondly as u suggest because of Miandad
Did u just dream this up?????
We have people in all walks of life from the chappa man to doctor that supports IK, and this urdu speaking lot still have a hump with IK because of Miandad........
U truly amaze me with this.....

Now that IK is becoming a bigger leader, urdu speaking might not give Miandad issues too much importance but this is true that urdu speaking were unhappy with IK because of Miandad and that unhappiness is still there to some extent.
Also, there were accusations about ignoring urdu speaking players in Pakistani cricket team and inducting Punjabi cricketers.

The nation is anxious for an ideal leadership. There is a wide gap in our politics. Some competent leadership must fill it up.

Imran's racism grew apparent not only in the case of Miandad but on many other occasions. Although, the residents of Karachi donated to his hospital generously, but his racism could not be relieved.
Now, Imran is standing in the politics as a national leader. A national leader is supposed to be equally caring and loving for the whole nation above any racial, provincial and linguistic differences. He must do something extraordinary for the residents of Karachi to prove that his party is an ideal political party for the residents of Karachi.

PMLN for Punjabis
MQM for Urdu speaking
ANP for Pushtoons
what about Baluchis, Sindhis and northern areas of Pakistan Gilgit Chitralis? situation is really hopeless for them.
Ab sirf PTI say thori bohatumeed hay.Posted 5 months ago on 30 Nov 2011 9:17 #
