Nandos new advertisement- Loosing all morailty

    These morons are obsessed with porn. This is not the first of their similar attempts. This new one is a masterpeice.

    It reads:

    Cricket with our Hot chicks is all about four-play. Now four can play with our hot chicks with our new mouth watering meal.

    I would like to put the image up here if anyone can help me with the html code. (Cant we have a section with all html tags here? We should)

    Anyhow, it seems their is no ethical way left to promote chicken. Or maybe they have pamela anderson and jesse jane in their marketing team.

    They're making it look as if their choice of words is perfectly fine but we all know where they're getting these ideas from.

    Exactly nota, thats the worry.

    The adverts they're using in Pakistan are getting dirty by the day. They're giving this doze of mild porn and in 2-3 years time they would be over the board.

    If someone doesnt take notice now, in 2-3 years time there chicken is going to be "Faster and Harder!" .. "Perri Perri chicken- Yehh baby Yehh".

    Atleast we should try stop these in Pakistan atleast. The elderly people of our society dont get what this actually is. The youth reads the signs and doesnt mind when actually this is criminal.

    The Shoaib adv is good enough for Shoaib to sue them.

    I have sent messages to these a&&holes and given them a piece of my mind.

    What else can be done ?

    Firstly we should start a email compaign to boycott Nandoos for this offensive and vulgar adds and send emails to our friends and a facebook compaign.

    Secondly, I think we should write to TV anchors and call in the TV programmes to highlight this vulgarity.

    Vulgarity and sexual inneuendo should not be ignored just because they are in English.

    Vulgarity and Nudity always start as a joke and little fun and little do you know when it engulfs the whole soceity.

    I absolutely Condemn this vulgarity by Nandoos

    @FJ that would be the right way to go. Unless Nandos gets some negative publicity and ppl start boycotting it, they will not get it. The only issue is that the so called "broad minded" folks wont give a crap.

    In UK they are pretty subtle like “Man eating chicken inside.."

    May be they think porn has market in Pakistan.

    Porn has market but if we can raise this issue and bring this vulgarity to an end, we wouldve significantly contributed to our society.

    Today its Nandos and in an year it can be every other product.

    Lets start with sending an email and text to all the notable journalists and then jot down a couple of letters to the editors.

    May we can get Talat to have the lame a$$ marketing dude of Nandos Pakistan on the line.

    The moment these idiots get to know that they stand exposed they would retract.

    If McDonalds can pay a million dollars when sued only coz the coffee glass didnt read Hot or Cold, Nandos can get into a lot of trouble.

    For once I wish JI leadership knew what hot chicks and four play was all about. Ab tak Nandos Pakistan band ho chuka hota.

    Even those who haven't watch will watch. Many more brands will follow Nandos to seek attention.

    @FJ: Why not just burn Nando's just like you guys usually do? Then blame Nando’s for inciting you to do this act while claiming to follow a peaceful religion.

    PS: You do realise when you send texts you sponsor telcos who also have dubious commercial campaigns from time to time.

    Yes lets not give Nandos any attention. Leave it as it is and let everyone get used to it. In 2 years, this sort of advertisement would be totally normal and we wouldnt care any less.

    @Abytude..

    As you kindly have pointed out this issue then why don't you start another thread "Boycott Nando's" which is more eye catching and some one can find few emails for these TV Anchor's and someone should create a 2 line text message so we all can forward it to our contacts in Pakistan. It will also be a test case of any campaign in the future , should we decide to do anything positive in forthcoming months/years.. May be the revolution will come from Nando's.

    As Regards to yayha comments, I wish I was based in Pakistan and Yayha would have said that to me while I was burning Nando's outlet... I wish....

    whats all the fuss about? its just simple lighthearted catchy marketing tools and as far as i knw nandoos is not in pakistan or is it?
    i think we shud spend our energies on better things..

    i wonder y mullahs find everything offensive be it loudspeaker in early days or going on moon and the list is long.. lolz now this time it is some marketing compaign . impressive!

    u r right i missed the price tag :)) its almost an year i avn't been to beloved homeland so i am loosing touch. i think its time to take a flight home :)
    in islamabad i never saw a nando may be its more so in karachi waghaira..

    i have never been to nandos in my life but tonite i am gona go fo dinner to a nandos on my way home frm work. lets see wht have they got lolz

    and abt mullah .

    mullah == fret on trivial things,
    - thinks every thing is fahashi,
    - thinks islam is all abt stopping fahashi, n has his weird definiton of fahashi.
    - is funny in his own ways lolz
    - u cant stop ur giggle once a mullah starts ranting abt fahashi lolz
    - always ready to abuse other ppl and ideas which r in
    anyway diffrnt to his views etc
    - narrow downs islam to rituals and once again to fahashi(:d) n misses out the essense of this wonderful religion
    - has got a surfaced understanding of islam but thinks of him as the saviour of islam
    - doenst take long to get emotional and mad in simple discussion abt religion & takes pride in this unconscious behaviour

    Leave aside what Mullahs have to say, ure stressing too much over it. But better check out what Allah(SWT) and his holy Prophet(PBUH) have to say about fahashi.

    U find this thread an over reaction, fair enuf, boycott it.

    I didn't even know about "Nando's" until today. You have to admire the creativity of their marketing team, but its not suited for conservative Pakistan.
