I was just watching the headlines strip on Express.

Nawaz Shareef used the word wafa in

Awam wafadar or bewafa ka hamesha khiyal rakhen
Halqa NA 123 k karkunon mae wafa kut kut k bhari hae
Agar wafadari ke siyasat hoti tau aaj Pakistan dar ba dar na hota
Aaj niya inqilab barpa ho reha hae..wafdar pakistan dekhna chatay haen.
NA55 mae wafa jeti aur bewafai shikasht kha gaee
Sher wafadar aur dler janwar hae

Hmmm.. Is Kulsoom Nawaz having affair?

Ziaulhaq sae bewafai kis nae ke?

He only talk about wafa with political party..there is no talk of wafa of politicians with awam..strange.

  2. IMHO, he was in the same league of politicians like zardari, fazlu and atlaf until like 2002, but after that he has been a changed person, he has sacrificed for principles, and you can't deny it.

He did not compromise on the restoration of judiciary, he even gave up federal ministries for that cause, and was disqualified by zardari as a revenge for the same cause, his party lost it's government in punjab for the same cause, and finally the judges were restored, and even after the restoration of judiciary, zardari tried to get rid of these judges by strucking a deal with NS, but he still refused to be part of this plan.

He has been the best of the lot if one analyses the last 5-6 years, but if after coming to power he acts similarly to zardari, he will be given the same treatment and will be kicked off. Zardari was given a fair chance, people even forgave his past 'blunders' when he took over, but he hasn't changed a bit and deserves to be thrown out and IMO even NS now deserves a fair chance, and even if he fails to perform better, I'm joining PTI fan club then.

    Umer,

I think he would not be able to deliver (i.e. if he wants to deliver - for arguments sake) due to the corrupt people he has gathered in his party. He had fair chance in two terms, he did not even try to deliver.

Hmmmmm, so far Imran seems to be the best of the lot (although not as a politician should be) Only better than others! But let's wait and see his future action before joining PTI.

What has he done in the last 2 years in Punjab that grabs you and says yeah this guy and his party are the real deal. I will give him credit for throwing his wait behind the restoration of judiciary BUT would he have really come out with full zeal had they goverment not been dismissed by PPP.

I agree with the comments of shariq. A leader is known by the representatives he choose. If a leader is incapable of choosing the right people, then he does not deserve to be called as a leader. Just count how many scandals have you come across of his party reps.

Secondly there is no concept of loyalty with a leader more than the loyalty with the country. People should upgrade their brains to choose only right people and forget about this party popularity slogans.

Finance Minister Punjab has revealed that Punjab has a deficit of 26 Bn for the last 6 months. It is all bcoz of the cheap publicity stunts and populist steps in the urban areas of Punjab.....
It sounds very ridiculous that Shareef brotherhood are affected much by their stay at the holy land of Saudia and the Sultanate of HH Shah.....
Younger one has withdrawn word "Wazir E Aala" and adopted the term "Khadim E Aalaa"
The elder one has changed the word "political affiliation" to "Faithfulness" means WAFAA.....sounds a term from the age of Kings

  8. I'd agree that his last two tenures were not so laudable, but still living standard in his tenure was much better than in any government. Anyway, I was talking about the NS after 2002, and politics of 1900's cannot be repeated in this day and age where a powerful media and an independent judiciary exists.

I see people complaining about the scandals of members of PMLN, but to their credit they forced these members to resign which in itself was a new precedent in Pakistan, and should be appreciated, and one must keep in mind the time at which NS came before elections, and because of lack of time Javaid hashmi was made to contest from 3/4 seats and this lack of time must also have been the reason that tickets were allotted to some corrupt people.

I am hopeful and believe a fair chance should be given to PMLN as well, because:

I think NS has learned from his mistakes
NS has brought principles back to politics
he has taken some praise worthy stands

he has a better team than any other party:
    shahbaz shariff
    Ch Nisar
    Kh asif
    Kh saad
    javed hashmi
    ahsan iqbal

shahbaz shariff ; Who is in debt of his own sons and daughters
Ch Nisar : Brother of Gen. Iftikhar, where was he in Musharraf era after 12 Oct, Ask him????
Kh asif ; foul mouthed idit box at TV channels
Kh saad : indeed..he is a better person
javed hashmi ; In Haider A Rizvi words, "In Ko to inn ki party ne Nishan e Ibrat Bana Dia"
ahsan iqbal ; Ex Jamaatia, klling opponents in Encounters claim in land disputes

aliarqam .. u know Javed Hashmi is the better person from all others. I don't know in what sense you rated Kh. saad as good as I don't know what good he has done so far except defending NS and party on unlimited basis. Sorry to say but if you check the people you will see that it is a group of Kashmiris. NS, Kh asif, Kh Saad, Ishaq dar, .............etc

  13. wafa karo gay ,wafa karein gay ,jafa karo gay ,jafa karein gay
hum aadmi hain tumharay jiasay jo tum karo gay wohh hum kareingay ...
aik zamany mein yeh popular shair tha ,dewaron pe likhtay thay log ...anyways.
Nawaz ko wafa ka sabaq iss liye yaad aa raha hay kionkay Musharraf ghaddar ne isski party tori thi .
Nawaz se saray ghunday cheen kay aik alag party bana li .
PMLQ Quami ghnday ...CH.Shujaat ,Ch.Pervaiz,Sh.Rasheed and Aijaz ul Haq ...

ab Nawaz kay pass ghundon ki supply kam ho gaye .
jubkay ajkal ghundon ki demand ziada hay politics mein success kay liye (mulahiza karein MQM ki success story safah no420 pe)
iss liye ab Nawz ko koi aur ghunday chahiyein.
kionkay javed Hashmi aqal ki baat karta hay magar ghunda gardi nahin kar sakta iss liye out ho chala hay ...
